I gone to Digitalmall on Friday and went to AllIT Hypermarket.
Saw the Logitech G400 same price as the Logitech MX518 at RM89.00!!!
Was shocked for awhile though, thought my eyes go blur or something... so it is really same price?

Yeah, i was wondering why also. Because last time i check internet the price is rumored to be around RM150. So i was also kinda shocked when i saw the G400 being put side by side with the MX518 and sporting the same price tag also...
Later i will go to The Curve. Will check it again at AllIT hypermarket. Wanna double-check.

Erm... owners of G700, can i ask some questions?
The G700 mouse you guys owned, the mouse surface, is it rubberized like those of the Razers, or is it the smooth-plastic one? I wanna ask because was intending of getting it and im not fond of rubberized surfaces. Btw, the G700, it is both wireless and wired right? you can switch between them right?

When i use the G700 without the battery and plugged it as wired, the middle LED keeps blinking red, is this normal?

o.O okok, im currently using it as a wired mouse without the battery at home. When my next semester starts, i will use it as wireless in campus and wired at home for GAME!!!!!

Whoa.... then the wireless extender also acts as an USB port extension! The charging cable acts as an mini usb cable!!! Wa.... geng leh Logitech!!!! Now even more love my G700!!!! Nice one there jeff!!!

Walao.... now even average micro usb cable also can be used to charge and connect the G700 mouse? OH GAWD.... does Logitech's stuff so user-friendly one????

Erm... what if i use the non-chargeable batteries but i do not connect the cable, meaning i just use the normal batteries in wireless mode. When i wanna use the wired mode, i just pop out the normal batteries, can?

O.... okok. Because now Im using my G700 in wired mode without the battery all the time, well, at least till my next semester starts in September that is.... So i wanted to know whether normal batteries would do for the wireless mode....

Erm... guys, i have a question in mind.
For the G700, the settings that we changed in the setpoint software, is it being saved in the mouse itself, or is it being saved at the computer. If i make the settings/changes in my G700 using my laptop, and i plugged it into my desktop without the setpoint software, will i be able to use the mouse's settings that i set up earlier?
Sorry for this noob question, Im new into gaming mice... I wonder whether all those gaming mouse (Death Adder, Lachesis, Imperator, G9x, G500, Kone+, Kova+, Xai) are all the same?

Then which means, i can "cucuk" it in a different computer and then use the setpoint on that computer to change settings in the mouse also can lo?

o.O, meaning if you set up the mouse in Computer A, you can use the settings in Computer B but if you want to change the settings while using Computer B, you need the latest (not necessary the same version in Computer A, but maybe newer) setpoint, is it?

oh..... okok, now i understand that the setpoint is just the "tool" to change the settings while the settings are saved on the mouse's on-board memory and it will not change unless i changed it will setpoint again. Thanks for your explanation sifu chuah

Ok. I was asking because i thought that once the mouse you set it in one PC/laptop, when you change your PC/laptop, then the mouse cannot retain its settings.... noobie me
Now i fully understand it already, thank you guys for answering my some-what noob questions with patience and details.

The red line part is actually the LED, can assign different color to different profile, quite neat feature
Specs wise, G400 is better than G300.
But other factors like texture, gripping, feel, looks are all down to personal preferences

Me too prefer ambidextrous mice and im a claw gripper, but well, since i got G700, might as well getting some use to it. I also have other mice that are ambidextrous, so can still practice using both designs...

I think getting a mech keyboard is also a good choice, since those gaming keyboards also costs alot. Plus, most gaming keyboards made by manufacturers are still membrane keyboards, only a few are mech keyboards (Razer Black Widow, Steelseries 6Gv2, Steelseries 7G, CM Storm Trigger, CM Storm Quick Fire Rapid, Mionix Zibal and etc.) are gaming boards.

LOL... i thought the scrolling suppose to be really really loose when in hyperscrolling mode? the normal scrolling mode only will have a latch....

There are 2 modes.
The toggle is the button behind the scrollwheel... you click once, one mode, click again, toggle back.
