Replaced my G5 v2 with G400 since the scroll is kinda broken.

Logical replacement would be the G500 but i don't need the extra features so i settle for the MX518 replacement instead. Plus it's cheaper. tongue.gif

I think this should be pretty normal. Give it sometime to break in and you're good to go.

emm, actually what i mean is the middle wheel scrolling. felt like something not right, almost like it stuck or something. my other mouse never had this kind of problem using the wheel scroll for the first time before even the cheap one. scrolling up and down pretty fine. this is the first time i encounter the middle wheel like this. i wonder if it defect or something sad.gif

you just brought it without a week? take back go shop, complain about it, call him let you test same model mouse wheel.

If your mouse wheel sounds weird or does not work as you intended. better you just abuse the frigging wheel until it patah itself, and straight go swap a new one.

I bought online. So quite hard to return back and all that. Because I compare it to my Gigabyte and Sidewinder X3 mouse, they're pretty much smoother. Don't know where I can get a display unit here in JB to get the other G400 wheel scroll feel.

Yeah, maybe I can do just that. Damage it and return for warranty tongue.gif

sorry about my typo, i meant to say "brought it within a week".

did you have some friends that owns G400? might check theirs to see if they have the similar feel to yours.

But giving weird feeling, i think they will break faster, like my gigabyte, they give me weird feeling, but i ignore them, mana tahu guna 3 month straight break. crap.

yeah, abuse it to return for warranty, since they're designed for abusing. lololol xD

So, its not just me. The G400 middle wheel is indeed quite rough and need a little force to press and scroll. And mine LMB also feels wobbly. Sigh. Should've read review before buying this..*sigh*

Good thing logitech's customer support for RMA is quite lenient, if im not mistaken, dont need to present the box or the receipt if you dont have, just by bringing the product itself.... hmm.gif

Guys, have any of you encountered a peculiar occurrence with a Logitech G15v2?

Each time when I would play a game, be it Counter-Strike or RAGE, a specific key would be somewhat pressed down until I've to either restart or log off my account. It tends to happen in the midst of a gaming session. If I'm not launching any games, it wouldn't occur.

Before I reformatted my PC, the key would be C. After reformatting, it would be the Backspace key. Its downright annoying and puzzles me. I've updated the drivers but the problem isn't backing down. I noticed that when I logged in back after logging out, the failed driver installation message, "|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-SATA(or bearing something similar" would appear.

I've checked on Google, but results aren't same as mine.

Highly probably that its the keyboard at fault, but why does it happen? Anyone could care to enlighten me?

yes the middle wheel feels a bit cheap, and my LMB did feel wobbly, but they were hardly noticeable.
i only this found out after i read your post.

nevertheless, i like how it feels in my palm, and that's the reason why i choose G400 over the rest (and it was actually the cheapest too biggrin.gif )
