Logitech released new replacement for G1 Gaming Desktop. Retail price RM89 biggrin.gif

G100 Gaming Combo
*
Ok this combo is looking good and providing all the basic gaming needs at the price of RM89 only. This is a real bargain I'd say. Most importantly, the quality build of Logitech. We couldn't complain much.

Looks like Logitech is looking to dominate the gaming industry, quietly. I'll definitely get this combo for my girlfriend's rig (I already have the Razer BlackWidow Ultimate / Logitech K300 & a HP Laser Gaming Mouse / MX518 for my rig). Hopefully, we can get cheaper price than the retail price from forumers doing bulk.

Why are the Malaysian Logitech webpage always not enough information?

Here's what I can get from other forum regarding the G100 combo:

-Avago ADNS-A3055 sensor. (untested, don't really know much about it other than it's based off the new ADNS-3050).
-No prediction/Angle snapping/correction/drift control assuming it's the same sensor as the G300.

Official specs:

Quote:
Tracking Resolution: 1000dpi, 1750dpi, 2500dpi (dpi button can be selected)
Image Processing: 2.4 megapixels / second
Maximum acceleration: 23G
Maximum speed: 160 inches / second (in the most suitable surface)
Static friction coefficient - .14
Mouse Weight: 80 grams
Connection: 30 grams
Left and right buttons durable life: 10 million hits
Feet: 250 km

Any g300 user here??? any bad feedback about it ??

I'm a G300 owner. IMO the sensor is very accurate, good build overall, great side grips, button clicks are soft, but the only one thing I didn't like was the fact that it's pretty small for my hands. But I still can live with it since I can claw grip it. It never meant for palm grip anyways, and yeah, you just have to learn new grip style if you are going to buy this mouse if you're a palm gripper.

IMO the G710+ looks kinda ugly and look like those PowerLogic/Gaygaybyte cheapo boards.

The lack of LCD display sad.gif

Yeah, and their trademark display! But I guess that would make the keyboard highly not affordable for the mass.

g500 and g510 here @@.....btw my g500 mouse after 2 year of using....right click having double click problem....any place can repair?
*
2 years? Why don't you contact the Logitech support team? They are very helpful.

Tell them that your case and they would be very happy to replace it for you. Logitech support team is the best among all.

As an alternative, if you're brave enough, you can purchase those Omron replacement clicks and DIY. A bit of soldering skills needed here though. biggrin.gif

is there anyway i can get mx518? a new 1? seems like no1 is selling it.
*
I don't think they are producing the MX518 anymore. You might be able to get some old stocks but the replacement model is the G400. Which is essentially the same.

does g400 the optical can go on glass or shiny table ? smile.gif
*
No, I don't think the G400 can do so. Only the Performance mouse MX or the anywhere mouse can do so. Look for "Darkfield Technology"

looking to replace my 10years old razer deathadder too

possible to get g403 under rm200?
*
I'm also looking to replace my DeathAdder but the thing is the DA is still going strong and I don't have any reasons to change it yet. *touchwood*

But I read that Logitech has some quality issues in the current generation of gaming mice? e.g double clicking issues. Wonder how true is this. hmm.gif

IMO the G304 is the best entry level wireless gaming mice with decent battery life.

Hi guys, any m331 owner here? The scroll wheel makes an annoying sound when i move the mouse quickly left to right. Is this normal? It's kind of annoying, isn't this suppose to be a silent mouse? It's like there's a gap between the scroll wheel and the click buttons. The scroll wheel hits the sides of the click buttons which makes this noise, loose scroll wheel I should say? I wonder if I can send this for warranty? I bought if from Popular Bookstore.. zzzz
