I want to learn use telephoto lens but one of lens in my wishlist, 70-200mm F/2.8G is wayyyy to expensive. Dun think can manage to get them even in 2012. LOL. How bout Nikon 70-300mm f/4-5.6G. Will i regret getting them or should i wait in year 2016 when i have the money to buy f/2.8?

I tried my cousin 55-200mm,quite noisy when the lens try to focus...is that normal?

bro ... its not the coating on the lens ... but the outer barrel ... the normal Sigma coating is a bit like powder & many people complained bout it not lasting ... the newer coating has smoother surface ...

oh noo...bad sign bad sign.

tested my new d7000 just now. tried some fast shutter shots. looks like it's jamming.

anything above 1/800, when i press the button, i hear the clark then the top lcd blinks Err and i get a black image. i press shutter button again, i hear clark and then it's ready for another shot. press again, same thing, hear sound, Err and black image.

what could be the problem. shutter unit problem or wad?

1/800?? i think u shot it in dark situation... so the pics will be dark... whats ur aperture?? iso??

no it's definitely a problem. i tried it outside. iso 6400.

on the times it manage to release successfully, i get an underexposed image, which is normal.

the times it shows ERR, i get a black image.
