QUOTE(chobo @ Dec 28 2010, 02:45 PM) i wonder what the F could that coating be.... L coat better, Latex coating.... Added on December 28, 2010, 2:52 pmQUOTE(celciuz @ Dec 28 2010, 02:12 PM) spill the poison! Fluoride or something, no special name. Actually Nikon Nano coat not meant for lens, was used in their other technology before this. Someone shared the video before, pretty informative on how did the Nanocoat came to lens. Wow.... it's nice if someone can share this informative link, hmmm This post has been edited by Kent3888: Dec 28 2010, 02:52 PM

I think he asked question in V2,does anyone know what is the price for cleaning lens and camera body ?duration? My 55-200 oso screekss.... I don like the very slow sounds I think it's much slower compared to the Tamron screw drive, I pointing particular on SWM of 55-200 VR only

QUOTE(kenji_britney @ Jan 3 2011, 11:33 AM) lol thx. this 1 is f/22, 15s, ISO200. practise more, mine also some were hit n miss cause those 15s exposure, capture some too bright bursts. n i didn't use black card cause fish eye is almost impossible to use black card. but i think 5-10s also no problem cause the light trails die off around 5s at most. 15s capture too many fireworks, like this 1. Added on January 3, 2011, 11:34 amlol nope, i was standing along the esplanade, u can see merlion on bottom right n marina bay sands on bottom left. Black card for?? haha.... <-- sorry too noob, i oni know white n grey

I oso got the feeling of ditching the 35mm and grab the 50mm, coz 35mm to me is stuck in the middle, not wide not narrow, take portrait bokeh not strong enuf, take group pic now wide enuf.... since the 17-50 serve me well more den enuf for walk about lens and group pic, so I thinking of letting go the 35mm and get the sigma 50mm, or mayb keeping the 35mm, see how it goes 1st, best is get both the Sigma 50mm + 35 F2D, haha.... prepares for FX in future This post has been edited by Kent3888: Jan 3 2011, 12:28 PM

IMHO, Sigma 50mm is the best for Nikon..simply love it Dammn...... I thought u will say..... Arghh Sigma is juz slightly better than the 1.4D only So got excuse for me to not spend the extra mile I'm so poisoned with the 50mm length for portrait

After I get the 17-50, din use the 35mm dy, stay in the bag even I bring it out =.=, portrait den use the 50mm end of the Tamron The only reason I thinking of the 1.4D coz it's cheap, lol... QUOTE(bbuser91 @ Jan 4 2011, 09:14 PM) Oic ... HSM in sigma only? how about tamron? they also use hsm? Sigma and Nikon uses nearly same type of motor, new technology, I think the whole motor is the lens barrel, not sure though, but the Tamron uses screw drive type, which is very noisy, but still fast!!
