Tell us more about your tank. Like what sort of filter are you using, etc.

2.5l tank, canister filter with 2 bacter ball, bio ring & sponge, amazonia 1 + 2 bacter ball...

i think the yellow color from bogwood... i thought no more colors as when i bought at sls its already being soaked hehe...

last week i bought carbon and put inside filter... already 4 days no more yellowish color... hope the filter and carbon can maintain it... see how it goes another few more days...

How big is your tank???

IME, most of the time otto will died because not enough food to support them. They are strictly vegetarian, so you must give them additional food, not just the algae in the tank, sure not enough one. Give some vegetables, they are very picky to the type of vege they eat. I suspect my otto keep dying cause I couldn't find the suitable vege to feed them.

But if I remember correctly, chuppy had an army of them once. he got more experience with ottos... He showed the photo here or in MAC forum before. tongue.gif
