finally!! solved my lmde suspend to disk problem thumbup.gif
before this suspend to disk or hibernate wont work at all. it'll came from previous suspend/hibernate with normal start, everything will lost. now it works!! rclxm9.gif

updating to the new kernel wont delete ur old one.. unless u manually remove ur old kernel, its still appear in grub selection menu. so if something goes wrong with the new kernel, u can still boot using ur old one

on debian, vlc still 1.1.3 in testing and unstable.. while 1.1.6-1 is in experimental, but only for amd64 and sparc platform. the rest platform is still 1.1.5-3 doh.gif doh.gif

its not like a video player like vlc can make system unbootable.. i can undertand if they held package that known to bork system like xorg or grub, but vlc??? doh.gif doh.gif

try to purge all vlc 1.1.3-1 package first. i think i also got that problem, cant really remember. at last i purge all vlc 1.1.3-1 then install clean vlc 1.1.5-3 with synaptic using force version
