in that case, need to wait for compiled rom that has root pre-included from xda.. just like the recent .24 release

for apps, i prefer synch with appbrain..it will recognise all apps eventough the apps is not from market... so later if i need to restore, just need to let appbrain auto download evything.. for titanium, i only backup important core apps.. cos if got more app to backup=bigger backup size.. waste of space..

jit has nothing to do with it... i think... 1 thing for sure, im sure its becos the cpu is hot...
but is it supposed to be that hot only after a few minutes of playing games?? couldnt be, rite?
i downgrade to jit v1, still got reboot.. and some other time, 1hr + of angrybid no reboot...
then play racing game, reboot after 10-15minutes or so...
then V2 again, same behavior .... hav u ever played a game and the temp went up to 40C+ ?
if u hav some free time, can u download Guns N glory (from PlayNow-free)? i tried last nite, after 20 minute, reboot...and the graphic is not that heavy either...
see how long can u play it in normal room temp...(no aircon)

OVI map free ka? i tot u need to pay for the apps? i had it on my e71 last time...
anyway, android hav Wisepilot (paid), Papago X5 (paid), Google Maps (free but need data plan).. Garmin Not available...
but if u want to use Papago with view junction, you can opt to pay or google around for the cracked and free version...
im sure lots of people would be able to help you out... come back here once u have ur X10..... we'll work something out...

haiya.. just now i tried to launch GPS, just for testing...
before the signal could even lock, my phone reboot..
and the battery kinda hot.. saw the temp after reboot 40C..
could it be hardware failure? last time before JIT, i can use GPS for more than an hour with no issue at all....
i think im gonna disable JIT totally and see if it makes a diff...
any comments?

update:
mflop test= 5 should mean im not JIT'ed, but quadrant test=nexus one... hmm...maybe cos i uninstalled Timescape?
and free ram always around 130mb.. with JIT i can barely stay above 100Mb...
time to test it out... cross finger ..

tak lah.. aku dah disable JIT totally.. now running on standard mode.. by right, score should be same as x10 (below nexus One)
but recently aku buang timescape, and skrg eventhough standard, score sama cam Nexus one... which prove timescape mmg affct performance..

u have internet?
just go to SE website.. download and install SE PC Companion.. then plug in ur phone to laptop and ur good to go.... make sure got enough battery..

hmm.. did u get to download evrythin till finish? I never encountered it before... but if i were you, i redo from scratch...
or maybe Mikee can help you out.. wait till he reads this post. maybe he knows what button to press to get into recorvery mode or something...

there should be an option to download everything first, then update it offline, right? i never tried that before, but i kinda read that somewhere.. hmmm..

by the way, update software update on the air wont help either.. cos i dont think SE m'sia provide that support.. must use USB ...

on the rooting and warranty part, only Nexus can trace back if the phone was ever rooted before..
other phone cannot detect.... well, at least thats what i read from internet la...not 100% sure...

it all started with JIT that day..
problem came eversince... or maybe i mess up the whole procedure..

ok.. i've done mine..
generic .24 pre-rooted....
then flash with dual touch
restore from Titanium backup..
all done within 1hour...

i must tell, the dual touch works like a charm..
for those who wants to do.. just flash the dualtouch kernel using flashtool.. easy breezy...
it wont wipe any system data or apps etc...
i just did this to my wife's x10 , took only seconds...

but i havent test if the previous frequent FC on my phone is gone...
havent test yet... really really hope i have a clean slate now.... pls pls pls..

first i do a full backup - apps and data
after flashing to the latest rom and dual touch, then i complete the acc registration in market..
browse just to make sure evrythin ok...
after that, i do a titanium restore (apps + data) ... then check market.. all is synch....
i guess the only logic thing to say is, register market account before restoring from titanium.. did u do the same?

its the latest official from SE + dual touch... and i think only official rom has official browser, not too sure bout customs....
and dual touch only works on official browser

if u feel the need to get a juiced up performance.. try JITing... but for now, i stil find the standard official rom is fast enough...
I also uninstalled Timescape.. really does improves a bit in linpack and quadrant test...
but then, im using LanucherPRo plus, which makes the whole UI seems flawlessly... worth buying...also got cheap version with lest customisation option la...

now heard slightly cheaper... and definitely not 1300 la...

sarawak phone price always cheaper than Semenanjung...

i remember i went to lowyat, and the guy offer me 1200...
at that time, other places selling cheapest 1300, but majority still selling at 1380...
but there's a catch, 1200 is without screen warranty and 8Gb SDcard, no screen protector and no casing/pouch of your choice...
so make sure to get black n white of what ur buying...

Dual touch works on standard se browser, rite?
But I cant seem to use the pinch to zoom function when browsin web..
But in gallery 3d n angrybird it works just fine..

I flash my phone quite a few time, but pics n video still there..
But for apps, flashing to a new firmware will definitely wipe all apps.. U need to use titanium backup for apps..

For contact, settngs, sms, call log.. Use default se backup n restore ..
