how bout installng JIt V1 on top of V2? so that i can hav the option to disable it? but how how would i know that im running V1??

angry bird for more than an hour, no reboot?
with JIT v2? then i guess its not the JIT thats causing this... probably some apps that i installed..
i guess im gonna try a different approach... uninstall some active widgets ad work my way up to some apps thats interacting with core apps...

to be safe. 1.3Gb is a good partitiion size for app2sd on x10....i think...
and that is a lot of space to install apps....
app2sd is possible on 2.1, u'll need to do it manually... (guide on 1st page)
but 2.2, it comes as standard...

but how many apps will u need on ur phone?
as of now, i only manage to use half the space from internal memory...
i only keep those that s worth keeping... at first, i also installed a lot of things on my phone, but after a while, i manage to filter out those that is not necessary.. i hav feeling that it would make my phone work harder to access those many many files if you installed too much.... so im gonna go easy on her....less files, less hectic..

and X10 can support up to 32Gb of Sdcard for music and others

Added on January 16, 2011, 8:59 ami remember one time, it was less than 5 minutes i launch AngryBird, it rebooted..
but i do notice the battery was a bit warm...maybe cpu too hot?? but it was only 5 minutes...too soon to be hot...

anyway.. last nite, i tried to clear my Dalvik cache.... then played NeedForSpeed for more than half an hour....
no reboot.....smooth all the way... then i stop and check temp.. it was 39-40C..... hmmm...
last tiime i notice it went up to 42-43C before it finally gave way and reboot itself....battery didnt feel that hot either.....

i'm gonna do some more test and see if clearing the Dalvik cache really solved my problem...

u removed Timescape already?
so far, how it affects other things such as phonebook? im confuse between Mediascape n Timescape.. but i know either one would cause some isses somewhere if removed...

as far as i know, dalvik cache is something like an index of all the apps you have.. if its empty, our OS will build it during boot time for easy reference..
so its safe to clear it whenever u have new rom installed, or whenever u feel ur phone got some issues...

i did my test again, and the reboot was still there... then i proceed to downgrade to JIT V1...
still testing... so far, more than half hour of NFS, no reboot... i hope it stays that way...

but now, not sre why.. i dont really notice it.. or maybe i got use to it?

outside, i switched on my 2G for data connection.. at home, i use wifi...
btw, in case u didnt know.. 3g drains battery the fastest.. i prefer to use 2G and toggle between 3G if i really need it like web browsing or youtube...

ada... under network setting of kos.... kat site ada 3 option.. GSM only(2g), wcdma (3G) or auto switch (2g 3g)..
auto pun tak leh pakai gak.. phone ko akan try carik 3G jugak sampai dpt (kalau signal takde).. which is why it drains even faster...

guna toggle utk easy manual switching.. kat market byk

not all apps can support app2sd... havent tried it myself, but there should be an option to move it to SD... otherwise, reinstall..
for timescpae, i removed it last nite..timescape and all related plug in (but i have Titanium backup just in case).... so far ok... i update my status on FB via Phonebook, it still shows up in FB as Sony Ericson X10...

last nite i also downgrade to Jit V1 and redo Jit V2... played angry bird for more than an hour... ok plak...

less than 100mb? i suggest you download DIskUsage... it can show you whats inside ur internal storage and ur sdcard... very usefull....
or maybe u have too much xrecovery backup??

normally, the option is inside the apps itself... try to look at its settings...

Thats normal I think.. I also get those running once in a while... It will always run evry now n then..
I dont use 4square, so im not sure..

But if those 3rd party apps consumes too much resources, simply stop using it lor.. Not all apps are good

and its not taking that much space either...


infact, im on PIngchat (id:bondai), gtalk (bondai76@gmail.com) and whatsapp running... can add me up if u guys want to.. just dont spam my chatbox...haha

aku tak pakai app2sd.. for now, tak memerlukan sbb ada 173mb internal free space lagi.. the biggest is Angy bird and Google Earth..
fyi, that 1Gb internal, half android core apps dah consume like OS and display.. cuma tinggal 4-500mb jer utk market apps...

all of ur apps or just certain ones?
maybe u restored from Titanium backup ? or u got the apps from elsewhere?
