Ok thank you. Just good to know its not from COE, meaning other branches are getting their fair share of the cars too.

Added on December 15, 2010, 12:18 amThis is something needs to be addressed quickly or else, we gonna need replacing the part every time we service, rclxub.gif

Nope, Mine is at Mutiara Damansara. I was just wondering if those booked at COE will get their cars faster than other branches.

I didn't have such a problem with mine coz I noticed there's an extra outer piece of muffler on mine. You can touch it after driving and you won't get burnt.

Probably Proton has rectified it?

i don't have a proper camera with me.. maybe tomorrow la.. by the way, the metal part is inside the bumper.. if you look from underneath the car, it's the metal piece that that diffuser is connected to..

Okay, will take a closer look today. I did not really look under the car the other day when trying to check this out. Thanks!

I booked INSPIRE WHITE last week. I am excited to wait him come out.

However, the first thing I want to do to him is buy him a "shirt" (window tint)

As from the brochure, the heat rejection is 56% only, I would like to tint 2nd layer only for the heat rejection function. Not sure whether any side effect on the first layer, and whether the warranty how it work? any idea bro here....

surely will void the original tint warranty if you do double layer on top of the factory tint. a factor also must be considered is how well the 1st tinted layer is done. If poor workmanship, it will affect your 2nd layer tint, plus you wont be able to claim the tint warranty if this happens. its my dilemma also.

Think it is better to take off first layer then put on tint that you prefer.

Since the new tint is going to be better, why bother to worry about warranty of first tint? :-)

I think mainly because some will feel its wasted if peel off the factory tint, also because the factory tint does not come FOC, part of the accessories that we have to pay. And some just want a darker tint so doing a 2nd layer is quite sensible too.

Unfortunately, this is part of the package.

But I'm just concerned if the new better second layer tint is going to be affected by the original tint. Then rugi x2. :-(

I wished we could remove some accessories item & lower the cost, as far as I know, the accessories is a must buy items, included in the vehicle sales price. I wonder anyone here tried to do such a request?

Added on December 15, 2010, 1:59 pmLike I have mentioned, if the 1st layer factory tint have poor workmanship defects, then 2nd layer will have to be removed as it sticks to the 1st layer. Double whammy!

Malaysian system sux ler..

Overseas when i was in the US.. Cars were sold only with standard equipments, then when u wanna buy, there are optional "Packages" which we can choose from.. Optional Navigation system, optional Audio, Performance package and so on... We can even choose the colours of the interior as well..

haihz..in malaysia we re pretty much stuck with so few options which are basicly diff engine displacement and Auto/Manual
