Guys,

Remember the  Gear Lock that i mentioned before?

Just now, a Mr. Chan called me saying that the product for Inspira & Forte is in R&D (maybe improving design, etc) and will be released by end of this month.

Expected price is around RM649 but can be cheaper depending on amount of people buying from both Inspira & Forte (group buy perhaps?  hmm.gif  )

Captor + Gear Lock would be a decent safety combination  laugh.gif

I think mainly because some will feel its wasted if peel off the factory tint, also because the factory tint does not come FOC, part of the accessories that we have to pay. And some just want a darker tint so doing a 2nd layer is quite sensible too.

Can we request our SA not to put up tint for us? I'm gonna get a better ones anyway. If can aaa.... will ask for refund @ discount la...

Sh1t la HQ... Still no news!!! My concern is, if get the car next year, i'm pretty sure that in the registration card the manufacturing date will be 2010 still. Booked during soft launch. I have second thought already if somethg bad happen to inspira.... Can the car being fixed@rectified on time? Will the parts available very soon or need to wait the spare part imported and arrived from japan.

I'm dealing with salesman at COE that does not keep his promise abt the 1.5month delivery date, even if this issue is beyond his control but they are working "in" the same company what? Should know why and what goes wrong. Got a bad experience already even when the car is not out yet, i dont think the SA or thier manager or anybody in COE can do anythg to expedite any issue that we may found later on inspira--> warranty claims etc.

I would suggest that all inspira owner in this lovely forum stick together, and join force to help each other to fight for our rights as consumer@customer. We might discuss this during our TT sessions later on, i'm sure that among us we know somebody that knows someone that can help us if we face any issue dealing with proton. Right now they seem so untouchable, even the complains made to i-care also a not being taken seriously.

Lets be proactive bro, make them wake up and work beyond their wellknown 'tak apa lah' attitude. Let them know that there is a group of people that will not shut their mouth if somethg wrong happen to inspira. We can amplify our voice via petitions, forums, facebook, inspira clubs, consumers' column in newspapers and magazines and may be we can arrange a "proper events" outside COE if they continue with 'tak apa lah' attitude.

I frankly think that if we become proactive (not overly aggressive), we can improve the quality of proton's product, change thier stupid mindset and eventually make malaysian proud of proton. I want to support malaysia product and i've booked inspira during soft launch. I really hope that proton can support us, the loyal customer in return.

What say u?

Added on December 24, 2010, 3:10 amSome issues like installing gearbox lock or installing a better security system in the car, changing the sport rims, adding spoiler or bodykits, changing HU makes the warranty void.. WTF!!! Proton should be more linean in this matter. Why not, after we do all the mods, let the technical guy in authorized service centre verify the mod. If the mod affect the electical system, suspension etc then only they can revoke the warranty, if the mod does not effect the current system of the car, then let it be...

I had enough with my previous waja, i'm not gonna shut my mouth on inspira now. SO THIS IS A WARNING FOR PROTON, MAKE SURE THAT THE CAR THAT I WILL RECEIVE LATER IS PROBLEM FREE. I WILL VIDEO TAPE WHAT EVER DEFECT THAT I FOUND, THE ANSWER THAT YOUR PERSONEL GAVE AND PUBLISH IT IN YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK, METACAFE OR ANY OTHER WEBSITE THE REQUEST REVIEW FROM OWNER. I HAVE TOLERATE ENOUGH. MAKE SURE U DO YOUR THINGS RIGHT OR ELSE MY ACTION WILL PUT U DOWN.

i highlighted several of your reply and below are my comment

1. you still think that you will get mitsu spare part later? yeah i know for the first batch percentage of mitsu spare parts quite high but dont think that proton will order spare part from japan later on. you can dream but it wont happen

2. pity you. now only you realize about proton? once they get your booking fees and d/p and loan approved, you are on your own. i would say, congrats on your new car that has not been arrived, and "good luck" with their after sales service... "BEST OF THE BEST"

3. now, why would others stick together just becos you still not getting your car? ask other to fight for u issit? lol just kidding fren. but 2 be honest it wont help much. you are pretty much on your own. waja have its own fan club, the same goes to satria, savvy, gen 2, every model hav its own club and member. but none of them able to give proton a wake up call. they wont bother about anything you complaint, yes, the tidak apa attitude. well, unless if you really have all the time in this world to visit SC almost everyday to shout at them and get angry then maybe they will take you seriously. yes, you go  vmad.gif  everyday then only you will be able to enjoy your ride doh.gif

4. the only think to give wake up call for proton is not to buy their car, which is almost impossible to be done. i am not trying to ask you to cancel your booking and strike a boycott, but the idea is that when their sales drop then only they will realize and start to look back what had gone wrong.

i am not talking cock, driven a proton before and encountered all common problem that is famous with proton (power window, water pool in cabin.. ) and also not common (car suddenly stop while cruising!) and to me, the way they treated and handle the problem, their after sales service that makes me shy away from proton, FOREVER.

the best part of it? i am  rclxub.gif  vmad.gif  doh.gif  free after i sold my car

Thank you bro... I do agree 100% with all your words

This is my answer
1. I dont care the part is mitsu or proton brand as long as my car does not stay in thier place more than a day

2. I know proton sucks, but latter product from them have better quality though... At least i can see some improvement on exora, persona and neo, but not thier attitude towards customer

3. My rage just know is due to Proton not keep their promise of delivering on time. I dont ask inspira owners here fight for me, i ask them to fight for thier right if they can't claim warranty due to manufacturing defect, avoidance in customer care. If we stick together, mean that, a lot of us here also videotaping, record thier experience using handphone at later upload to youtube.... Dont you think somebody from media or even proton themselves will not realise the power of internet that willnaffect the sale?

4. Sale will be drop if we publish the arrogant Proton personel, be it SA, customer service over the net and let ppl around the world knows about it. Big impact bro....

I placed the order during soft launch because the 70% item in Inspira is from japan. And i was about to book lancer at the same time bro... Cheaper and hopefully can enjoy 70% feeling of driving the actual lancer is Good enough for me, i dont drive 200km/h, and if i can save my money, why not?

I just cannot tolerate with the 'tidak apa' attitude anymore. Thats all....

Yeah, will have a look at their showroom, since their SA is my neighbour, haha....
But when talk about fuel efficiency, Hybrid is only slightly better than normal petrol driven cars.... Just make a research on Wiki, it can only do 15-18km/l and my Wira are doing ~14.5km/l if I follow their boasting spec way of driving(maintain 90km/h)
*
Insight is only here during KLIMS, took a really close look at it, almost 30min spent there, too bad cannot test drive lor... none of it available at any showroom in KL. btw, i just read some review from honda forum in singapore... they told the fc is abt 15km/l-22km/l (normal driving in singapore), and this is from the actual owner. if they bluf oso i dont know lor. space wise, not much different from city. boot capacity is waay smaller than city but almost the same with inspira (408 liter - insight vs 420 liter-inspira), being hatchback, the boot space is a bit flexi. look wise... from front, not bad, like oddysey, but from behind... alamak... teruknye... spec wise, well justified by the amount of money paid. color very limited. i dont think that its a 'turning head' model. price abit more expensive but will be justified with better fc. performance wise, inspira is waaaay better lah of course.. i'm willing to sacrifies this part since i will get a used 3 series/A4 tfsi/caldina or v50 later this year. after sales service, H should be better than P.

soup up hybrid here - cantik jugak smile.gif

http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2009/07/low-r...-hybrid-by.html

I just hv 2nd thought as until now I still hv not received my car (booking during softlaunch). even if i received the car in january, the manufacturing date still be 2010. resale value will be difference 7-10%... if i'm getting the inspira, i will urge for 2011 manufacturing car.... will i get it soon?

ok guys enuf abt insight.. pls continue talking abt INSPIRA. Sorry for divert a bit. still in dilemma..

Just come back from Honda showroom(pass by due to close), indeed no actual Insight to see....
After read your statement, I'm pretty sure Hybrid cars are for boasting purpose.... Car manufacturers are not ready to go green....

Yes, I am going to change my absorbers - suspecting defect in them too, in the front only emitting squeaking noise only in the morning going over 2 humps at my housing area but after that the whole day all quiet - so strange, however the both the back is working fine.

Do keep us updated if you have any news. Thanks bro!

My previous waja had the same problem, yup, the absorbers were the main cause. Check also the 'dog bone'.

BUt my waja had that problem when it got rape for like 10years plus

There are like 7 road bumps to reach my house from the main road and the bumps are like they are trying to stop a bulldozer from using the road. Change the rear absorber 3 times over 8 years of ownership. Front abs changed 2 times, all using monroe, not kayaba brand. If using kayaba(oem), i think i need to change it more frequently lor..

Sold the waja for inspira@insight though...

Canceled my booking already, firdaus, delete my name from the list. Rejected 2010 car. No 72% made in japan anymore, more local parts already... thats the only reason I bet on Inspira. Cannot tahan with 'tidak apa' attitude even in COE service centre. Got my booking fee back(after nego with mr sharif, branch mgr @COE) Best of luck for current + future owner! Peace!

FYI, some of the buyer (8 known cases) at COE got conned by SA Shamsinor (already dismissed). She took the deposit but never give official VPO @ receipt. Never trust this girl... Luckly I insist for the receipt during booking.
