I also had the same problem, but it's nothing to do with TMnet it's all in your compuer config..
I had this cuz i was using a software to block adult sites and it was blocking the hotmail site as HOT_mail or you can also check out your internet options>security settings and restore default in Advance tab..

bluesky87: routing means the way tmnet direct ur packets....
in simpler sense : the road u take when travelling, maybe the road u take got road block or got landslide, so got delay.

yeah..watch out , if you think tmnet misccaped , then call them ask to cap them back..seriously , you could be in trouble later (you may never know)

a few days ago i was having this problem ... which is like ...
I could connect to streamyx, but i cant download anything(download rate < 1kbps)
very slow that is smile.gif

but well i phoned that dude and he told me to
1. unplug all the wires of the modem
2. wait 10 minutes
3. plug in
4. Create a new connection
5. set DNS (streamyx connection) 202.188.0.133 (preferred), 202.188.1.5(alternate)
6. connect to the internet.

and its working fine now ...
the problem is i want to know why izzit like that ?

maybe more concentrate on a fix domain, it will guide ur connection to d right gua... haha, just my opinion...

And now my problem is i can online and download/upload as well...

but i did check my bandwidth speed... my download speed are abnormal... according to technician from tmnet, i suppose to get over 600Kbits for register 1Mb package. but i just manage to get 42x.xx Kbits. Later i follow their instruction like wat did SeeD said tat 6 steps, but i still cannot configure it over 600Kbits.

Quite dissapointed cuz i already dialed there 3 times, and waste RM1x.xx for my h.p... everytimes diff ppl ask same questions and give alike answer... doh.gif

Guys, wanna ask for some advice.

I have a very low rating Local SNR Margin at NIGHT, I can't even connect properly. This only happened at night and the line connection works great at day.

At day, the Local SNR Margin can achieve to 25-30, at night, it only has <15. I have gave a call to 100 and the person told me that their technician doesn't provide internal wiring. They suggest me to find the construtor or any specialist to change the internal phone line. So where I can these specialist? Do I need to change the external phone line too?

osxchd : u have a very big problem there...nothing wrong with tmnet...i think u should telekom to come have a look at ur wire...u staying at a very old housing estate?

SeeD: weird stuff happens sometimes....like my distribution box last time terbakar also i dunno...change it and i got 40++ SNR already.....got a shock when i open it that time yawn.gif.

i subsribe with 1mbps, yet see what i get 512kbps downstream..
i had call tmnet, they ask me to do the same thing, bypass, flushdns, and etc...
is this named by miscap? they told me that they had upgrade.. is there something wrong wif my modem? dsl3100r

i had the same prob, apply for 1MB but got 512, what i did was call them up and give them a piece of my mind, and demand for rebate....

to my surprise, within a week it went up to 1mb.
