HI Guys,

Anyone can give me any suggestion on what i can do? I have called up streamyx and telekom. I request log a case with telekom to check on the line and also the interchange as well as the socket. Hopefuly they can fix it soon.

- I have frequently facing disconnection most of the time
- I subscibe to streamyx 1mb line but the speed is lower than what i expected
- I am currently using Level 1 All in one wireless modem
- I have called up streamyx regarding the issue earlier and then they check for me
- Some telekom guy check my line using some special tools and mentioned that there is not problem at all?
= I am still facing the similar issue.  doh.gif
- What should i do? Can anyone provide me with some useful solution to resolve it?

Why is it my sent packets are higher than my received packets? I'm using 512 streamyx.

hi, i am having this problem for few days, this is my 4th day already. my connection always disconnected suddenly. i did change my internal phone wiring last week. why i changed, it is because TM's technician told me that the internal wiring was too old and need to be changed in order to get better streamyx performance. i've read this pinned thread and some of the problems are related me. i subscribed RM88 package (1Mbps) and using Aztech DSL600EW. here are 2 pictures about my modem, streamyx. can someone give any comments to me? i would appreciate it.

Im having problem to surf the net,cannot surf anything, even tmnet website, but i can connect to tmnet, that day i called customer service he ask me to change the dns server ip which i already did but seems to be the same ler. what i have to do?

I just recently got my Streamyx 1MB, but its really really slow, below are the details, experts please help, i called TM few times and emailed them but still the usual stuff (check cables, clean up cache, dc filter bla bla bla, all useless).

Any advice is very much appreciated.

Your SNR Margin & Line Attenuation looks excellent!!! Almost 3 times better than mine.

Try this (but cannot confirm that it works):
1) Scan your PC (Safe mode) for viruses.
2) Try some tweaks from http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-1013
3) Defrag your hard disk, etc. etc. etc. i.e. normal maintenance programs
4) Run CCleaner from http://www.ccleaner.com/

Other than that, maybe someone else can suggest something else.

Oh.. Sorry forgot to mention, I'm on Mac (Macbook), so not much worries about virus and defrag. I do run Disk Utility occasionally.

Have been trying so many things, and will try more, anyone with any advice, please do let me know, thanks!

My modem's DSL got NO signal at all for almost 3 weeks.

DSL = DOWN
Upload = 0 kb
Download = 0 kb

What should I do now? I've called 1300889515 for weeks and my problem is still not solved yet. *sigh*

Please advise. Thanks.

i just got my line relocated from old house to new house.

when i 1st got my line, down = 384, up = 56, pengsan.

after bug tmnet for few days, now i got down = 2048, up = 512.

but i am facing frequent disconnection now sad.gif

i have compared my DSLAM stat with you guy, doesnt looks good.

If i call streamyx and tell them DSLAM stat, their agent will understand or not? i afraid at the end, they will ask me to do all the troubleshooting steps again, waste my time.

here is my stat, any comment?

Someone tell me how bad is this because i seem to have disconnection like mad during peak hour.

This happen after some incident that even burnt my desktop internal modem and no such things happen before. BTW, i didn't take note of the stats before this happen and after reading this thread now, i just realized my ATT and SNR seems high and the latter low.

Any advises what i can do ?

Hase220 don't have modem management (I mean web base, besides, I don' know how to use telnet also) neither is DI604.

guys ..need some advice here. My streamyx connection has been going well until last nite. its will working well yesterday morning. Last nite i Cant connect at all. There's no rain or thunderstorm yesterday so i rule out the possibility of modem break down.

So, i call the 1800889515 this number to check my connection status. They say is okie on their side. Fyi, my DSL lite is not even blinking sad.gif

Any ideas guys???

For those who experience downtime,
Just to save time when u call the streamyx help line. before u call please try connecting with ur windows xp dialer and note down the error number (eg. error 678). when u call the tech support, give them the error number. that would help speed things up a bit.

Those having slow connections....im not sure whether u can get this info from the operators but try asking how far is ur port from the exchange...if its 4km-5km that isnt much they can do cuz thats pretty much the limit of ADSL...
