My account is actually 512Kbps but recently dunno why my modem/router detected the line is 1Mbps. But they still billed me at 512K price. And the problem begins now, I am having serious problem with my connection. The connection speed is very inconsistent and never achieve over 180Kbps. Check out my router configuration below. And my latest result on the TMnut Speedometer is at 19.84Kbps for DOWNLOAD...!!! WTF and 251.2Kbps for UPLOAD.

I saw them holiding some kind of DAI GO DAI thingy with 1 positive 1 negative terminal connected with clip wire ... I guess they use that thing to measure the line's quality or noise distortion ...

did u guys off all downloads,messengers,antivirus,firewall etc before checking the speed on speedometer?

stupid connection. I'm subscribing the RM66 basic 512K package. Just now I tested my speed (download).. super slow!! I tested for a few times on www.testmy.net (server1).. Here are the latest results:

Just now (since 8pm), I keep on reconnecting and tested again and again.. I even reboot my system.. stupid la thing streamyx... Slow like what shit!! It's worse than dial-up... damn. I hope it'll be fine besok >.< usually dont have such prob one..

if no dc probs then ok lah, and your line is uncapped i see.... good! however, even your line is uncapped, your account is still capped, so no chance to get 200kbps in download.

you're correct, i am aware that TMNet caps our account based on username.. almost all of new applicants get uncapped line nowadays (based on my findings thru friends, relatives etc)

Occasionally the line would be good for browsing, gaming, etc.. which will only last from anywhere from 30mins to 180mins. Then it'll return to its sluggish crawl.

Pings to Gateway still has time-outs. Tested with 100 packets, ranges from 15% - 30% losses.

Reported matter to 9515, and after a week of bumming around, i finally have a reply saying they have problem with their DSLAM...

How do I complain to streamyx hotline if my ping to 219.93.218.177 / 219.93.218.176 gateway has a lot of request time out aka lost packets? The last time they gave me the reason is that packet loss is a common thing. My SNR is above 30 & att below 10, DSL signal should be ok.

How's my streamyx connection?
I usually get download rate of 30kbps.
I'm using DAP to download my files.
Is there any way to boost my d/l rates?

Ermm guys, im having problem with my connection. Using modem router (prolink).
THe connection after a while, always no respond, and i have to off and on the modem to reconnect. How do solve this ?

US Rate sepatutnya 512Kbps. Patch Mode sepatutnya Fast Patch.
Jadi camnie sejak September 2006. Pakej 512Kbps/256Kbps.
Using Aztech DSL 600EU.

I think my internet line is the worse around... what can i do?

see the Ds Rate 960kbps and the Ds Margin 6 only

sometime even worse Ds Rate 896kbps and the Ds Margin 3 only
Currently using 512kbps package, any idea?

Either you are to far from DSLAM or your copper wire between your modem and DSLAM may be too old.
