Still no news from Sarku regarding on approval on their client side for TA position.. Heard that it is hard to get approved..

yeah kl easier to find, so many company out there.. from small to big..

Those companies in miri, labuan, their hiring decisions is decided by KL HQ....and they only want the experienced candidates (3-5 working exp), that's y ppl like me (1 working exp) has to be cast out from their equation.

don forget about me too knocked every door in miri that i know.. fresh grad all not easy get into OnG unless ur result and cocurriculum is very pretty..

true also.. go interview 1st, not even 100% can success also lol..

Added on November 18, 2011, 7:17 pmbtw, it's end of the year, so it's normal that nobody wants to leave the company, all waiting for bonus, so vacancies also less, i think early next year should have better opportunities..

Thanx for the tips. Phew. Surely there is so many questions they are going to ask me. Hopefully i can be calm during the interview. Btw, this is my first phone interview :-)

got this from my friend who already done his phone interview with Shell this afternoon

1) The interviewer ask about your achievement and what have u done to achieve it
2) The interviewer ask about relationship with other ppl, works in a team and about time management
3) The interviewer ask about case study, he give 4, choose one (u should jot down the case studies)

i just receive an email after i asked them, they said:

You are interviewing for a position as Graduate Engineer, Seconded to Shell.

This means that you will essentially be employed by SapuraCrest but working in Shell.

I think i am getting SapuraCrest pay but working for Shell, contractor i think lol.. But wat is a graduate engineer post? Anyone know? Do let me know what should i prepare for this kind of interview..

It's called networking. Some people calle it cable but most of the time we don't get the job outright, you still need to go through all the necessary process (interviews and whatnot). It just helps you with getting your feet in the door. How you performed in the interview solely depends on you.

I've helped a couple of friends this way and my brother managed to get into the O&G sector from Proton via my network as well. Hopefully my younger brother can get another good O&G position via this brother now ....
