Hi guys,

Just got back from shopping for my MI300. Not such a good bargain, got it at RM670 (Eclair 2.1) incld. mapking + 4gb class 2. Warranty for 15 months. Jealous at u all whose got it more cheaper.

So, any idea which rom should I proceed to root? As I read previous post, some of u got problem with class 2 microsd.

I'm using Class 2 SD Card but haven't got any problem with it.

How to install:

download sutlr http://download26.mediafire.com/p4kt37n1rb...UTLR_v1.7.0.zip and install on windows...
1) off phone.
2) put phone to download mode which is press and hold hang up button ( red dash) + vol up + power button
notice that black background screen with words saying download=1
3)open sut and plug usb connector to pc and phone..
4)click next
5))s.u.t program will say phone connected
6)browse for the nbo file. small bar below, select clear data
then program will start flashing...phone will reboot by itself...dun disturb the phone, if program say update failed, repeat step 3-6.

I'm on Eclair 2.1 rite now.
So I just root my Mi300 first & then proceed make backup of current rom (2.1) using Rom manager. After that I can restore new rom, rite?

but for safe point..download the spice 2.1 original rom...or any 2.1 roms just in case if you want to "convert to other roms..

since you can't just directly flash over any existing custom rom..you've to revert to 2.1 first before jumps to other rom ..else you'll lost your imei ...which can be recovered when flash back to 2.1

guys, im finished flashing to sky fish nbo...no prob happen when flasing, boot properly, no lag, no FC..now i wanna ask about partition,does i need to set it manually to ext3 and swap to use app2sd?
