any 2.1 stock rom will do. but i highly suggest you downgrade to a pre-rooted 2.1 roms. easier this way smile.gif

I managed to get back into recovery after several resets, taking out battery etc.
I have now restore back from recovery my backup copy of the original Eclair 2.1 ( but noted the splash screen of SuperBler precede it just a second before the original CSL splash screen)
Is it necessary to reflash the stock rom again ?

in this case nope.just wipe it before flashing 2.2 rom. i've did this way several times. (2.2 > restore stock csl rom backup > 2.2)
but if it fails after flashed 2.2. u gotta use SUT.

Will try to do it later - problem is I am using a MAC and the Windows 7 sometimes on it can be very unreliable and misbehave at times !!

Just completed upgrading to Phantom King rev1 ( SkyFish ) . The whole process took about 13 minutes. The first bootup time was quite frighteningly long - thought it was stuck in the never ending honeycomb splash screen.
You guys have been giving such good comments on this rom, will test out fully
