Orait, thanks. This weekend can go survey the phone.

BTW, is it difficult to update os? If something went wrong, can revert back to original?

I dont own a smartphone, so no knowledge about this blush.gif

Right Bro !. I told myself to at least try out the stock rom 2.1 for at least a day to two. However after installing most of my apps - it lags terribly and the phone memory was always alerting low memory. So after 5 hours on it, just couldn't tahan anymore - I flash SuperBler 4.2 : what a difference - it was so much zippier and slick . Is like getting into a 2000 cc car after on a 1000 cc car

Well, I'm not so sure about that. I plan to get this phone for my wife (to replace her 'ancient' phone). Don't think she care about that, maybe tongue.gif As long it works, reliable, then it is ok for her.

If for myself, then brows.gif

not quite. can say most android apps are the same. unless some newer apps stated requires 2.X.X. thus 1.X.X cant run it.
and lets say ur trying to run a 2.3 exclusive game , that its system requirements is far above our hardware capabilities..we cant run it.even if ur device is 2.3

its like spice 2.3 vs galaxy S 2.3 tongue.gif

meaning to say the spice mi-300 can support all the apps available in android market except those special app that require higher rom and specs or exclusive for some android os?

what i'm afraid is tat the market apps and software is depend on phone brand. If it's nothing to do with phone brand bt depend on ur android os version then i will get this phone.

please clarify for me, thanks thumbup.gif

You should try Phantom. brows.gif

lance888, yep. It also depends on the hardware as for e.g. the processor.

literally all apps. all, as long as ur hardware can process it.
not higher rom.its higher powered hardware vs lower

about brand specific apps... its usually bundled with the phone. like mediascape/timescape on SE's
sense on HTC
motoblur on motorola
which defines their shell/look only.

like dell vs acer whilst both on windows 7,or sorta wink.gif

last question, anyone succeed in flashing this phone to android 2.2 froyo and able to play 2.2 froyo apps and games yet? cause 2.1 is a bit outdated imo. i saw some apps and game minimum requirement is already android 2.2.
