after half a night working..now i managed to get gingerbread working on my phones!

1st 3 week still on the stock 1.6 andriod
then 1 week on the stock spice 2.1 eclair from india (feel really slow)

then now after a month having it, i'm on gingerbread....skip the froyo! love a new OS!

im a noob in android/csl mi300 and i wanna ask again about the mapking currently it working but it only show as map. can it show as turn by turn? how to turn it on?

i just follow salimbest step, but after i succesfully install CM7 #10 then i realize that i cannot log in with my google account, even after install GAPSS,i thought that 2 CM7 is not support goole apss yet, so switch back to CM6 same case...and cannot connect to the 3g internet also...

so then i open back my old SE, find internet setting, after a while trying...then i managed to connect with the mobile data, here is the setting i'm using


Name: Celcom 3G
APN: celcom3g
Proxy: (leave blank)
Port: (leave blank)
Username: (leave blank)
Password: (leave blank)
Server: (leave blank)
MMSC: http://mms.celcom.net.my
MMS Proxy: 010.128.001.242

yup..
2.3 is nice..
but coz of it just nightly build
some problem might appear.

tested build #23 ,,
no network connection..
so need to back to build 10 or 12,

Has anyone tried Build#23?

they sell premium package for RM50.
i saw alot store selling in lowyat

yup just try installed it again.
now can connect to network already
need to wipe all data and cache.

Step :

1. restore back to stok spice rom
2. z4root
3. clockwork
4. install from zip
reboot and check ur network GSM work or not, if yes just proceed

5. download and install recommeded gapps-gb-20110115.zip

done

they dun give me premium pack~!!

btw ur mi300 battery lifespan caan stand how long?

can u ask blackkiraw, he's using for few weeks edy.
should be able to give some review also.

Mine also without 'premium pack' box. But i have all the premium pack stuff.

My battery lasted 1 day? cos i bought already i straight rooted and flash to cynagonmod.

oh then should ask him put a review in the front page as a reference

then i ask them i want the premium package also
then when they open the box
i saw the car charger, screen protector, the pouch and extra cable
straight tell him i no money for the premium package already

last night when i got error message that tell acore not responding, force close i was very panic, then reboot with recovery mood Camere + Vol Up+ Poer, then choose to install from zip file another ROM, then it goes back to normal... very scary one...

2) whats the different between CSL stock ROM and Spice stock ROM? which is closer to google plain stock ROM?

yup.. both void warranty,

actually its closer than stock la..
ala2 Lancer rebranding Inspira only la..
same engine, same here n there.
but even small child can say thats Inspira not Lancer
