i just follow salimbest step, but after i succesfully install CM7 #10 then i realize that i cannot log in with my google account, even after install GAPSS,i thought that 2 CM7 is not support goole apss yet, so switch back to CM6 same case...and cannot connect to the 3g internet also...
so then i open back my old SE, find internet setting, after a while trying...then i managed to connect with the mobile data, here is the setting i'm using Name: Celcom 3G APN: celcom3g Proxy: (leave blank) Port: (leave blank) Username: (leave blank) Password: (leave blank) Server: (leave blank) MMSC: http://mms.celcom.net.my MMS Proxy: 010.128.001.242 MMS Port: 8080 Authentication type:PAP |

now i'm succesfully flahsed with CM 7 built 27. quite stable compare with built 10 that previously use...
i did't wipe clean or set back to factory so all the setting/apps/data are unchanged.. changes that i can see is now have option to set handphone as wifi access point which i cannot find in built 10.but dont have time to try that features yet... Added on February 5, 2011, 4:01 am QUOTE(BryanSinclair85 @ Feb 4 2011, 08:47 PM) new mi300 user here. 1. install z4root..there have menu whater to temporary root, permenant root or unroot2.1 ready. some questions 1. how to root and unroot back? (root will void warranty, right?) 2. does rooting required so that we can backup our current rom? what is the best software/applications for this situation? currently installed rom manager from market. 3. can't install clorkwork recovery. error - required some permission to install.. how to solve this?t thanks...still learning.... updates...its ok..done.... 2. i think so.. clockwork manager and rom manager can used to backup current rom. but if you want to backup apps only, u can use titanium backup 3. u need to root your smartphones 1st b4 u can used cloclwork recovery This post has been edited by interferens: Feb 5 2011, 04:01 AM |

QUOTE(BryanSinclair85 @ Feb 5 2011, 10:22 AM) thanks...done it... from what i explore last night, titanium backup is not just can backup apps, but can also be used to remove apps that u cant remove using setting>application like i just remove email application(replace with k9 mail). so u can try that for bluebarry apps too..any other way to remove stock application (blueberry store, rss reader, s-unno)? using root explorer but don't know which one to remove thanks but other forumer has stated another way,u need to visit previous page... |

b4 this i'm using blackberry and the data usage is never exceed 1GB/month
but since last month the data usage is ridiculously high. I'm start using this android on 4th jan My celcom billing cycle start 13th every month but last saturday, i got SMS from celcom that my data koata is nearly depleted..so i checked celcom online costumer service website on monday. The website says that my usage is 4.31GB!!! Today, i chacked my usage, it is 4.65GB!!! it is ridiculous since i onlu used my handset for normal usage like recieve email >50/day, twitter/FB using twetdeck, surf link on Malaysia insider tweet (<30 pages) for your information, 13 nov -13 dec (blackberry) : 0.21GB 13 dec - 3 jan (blackberry) + 4-13 january (android, stock OS 1.6) : 0.75GB 14 jan - 20 Jan (android, Spice 2.1 OS) + 21 jan - 2 feb (android, CM #24) + 3 feb - 7 feb (android, CM #27) = 4.65GB does anyone have same problem? |
