if is 599 sound attractive
wonder lowyat CSL still offer this kind of price?

1) izzit once the phone rooted then the warranty void?
2) whats the different between CSL stock ROM and Spice stock ROM? which is closer to google plain stock ROM?

just bought 1 from lowyat Digital SK

RM599 with the free gifts like pouch, car charger, screen protector.. and 4G class 4

they seems have plenty of stock

i havent applied the screen protector but i try to cover it seems is exact size for the screen
anyway the protector is labeled spice csl mi300 so should be fit

btw need to use what software to connect the phone to PC via USB?

i think the later batch has the exact fit SP from spice csl

im still looking windows USB driver for this phone

i downloaded foxconn driver but not sure is the correct one or not

lol me first time using android phone
after power off it wont wake up by alarm
lol today wake up 10 minutes late due to waiting the phone to beep

the default stock ROM got too many junk apps
which ROM has the minimum apps pre-installed? i prefer a "clean" phone?
seems i will root the phone very soon

not sure what i did wrong..

after i root with z4root and then installed RomManager
then i applied Flash ClockworkMod Recovery with Commtiva Z71

but once i select Backup Current ROM it pop a backup name then i click OK then the phone will reboot and hang at "enter Recovery Mode" CSL screen

i need to remove battery to boot again
any clue?

this time Backup Current ROM is successful
and copied the backup folder into my PC

i think if now u goto CSL shop
the spice csl mi300 sc they have is exact fit for the entire screen

the battery drain too fast
idle 1 night 8 hours also kill 40-50% battery
is this normal?
my old nokia e71 idle 1 night not even drop 1 bar

i guess the fast drain may due to i set enabled data with "always connected"
will observe again later

lol seems the 599 package is giving more n more free gifts
i bought 2 days b4 CNY and also 599 but only get class4 4G, car charger, sp, pouch

but what i feel mi300 lacking is a spare battery

if not mistaken the "up" button is when 1.6
2.1 stock rom no have that anymore

is the "Your Device" really a mi300 ?
as is hard to believe "Your Device" CPU score above 500 while SGS only score 200-

which app from market does the benchmark? would like to try out myself but i only see Quadrant Standard Edition
