Erm...Actually did big 4 take in ACCA finalist? Which one stands higher chance for a ACCA finalist? I am going to try my best on big 4s, hopefully is penang ones, but I have no clue that will they take in ACCA finalist?

they do take in but they'll obviously prefer those who've completed it rather than final sem students.. then again there's no harm to try applying for it right..

What would Big 4 think if i went for a working holiday after completing ACCA ? So there'll be like a 6-9 months gap between me completing ACCA and searching for work

well KayPeeAmGee just rejected my application, probably on the grounds that I'm a finalist(not yet fully pass all papers) and no OBU yet..

i don't think thats the case as my friend enters KPMG before passing as well, so are my friends in Deloitte....probably due to slowing down of staff intakes as works is much less compare to peak period...

I just rec a call from the deloite hr for the M&A transaction assessment centre on this coming mon. Anyone can give me any advices re. this M&A transaction assessment centre? What kind of specific test(financial model test or general pyschometric test??) will be included and interviews in this assessment because i heard the hr claimed that i will hv a "financial model test" or i may be overhear it or...since financial model esp in M&A have many model such as comparable measure, LBO and etc, thus, it's quite broad and i have to clarify with hr but the hr refuse to disclose further and just told me the qns is related to my offering position.

Apart of these, anyone is aware the starting pay for this fresh-entry role and any more guidance for this role??

I've an interview with KPMG coming up within the week and I was hoping anyone who's in the know could tell if they ask anything technical in the interview, or require case studies? This is for TS. I haven't touched anything resembling the IFRS for a while due to how I structured my units in university. I'm not worried so much about the psychometrical, numerical and English competency tests since I've done a few of those, but I would be gutted if they touch on anything technical.
