A new study found that people who worked 11 hours or more a day were 67% more likely to have a heart attack or die of one over an average 12 years of follow-up, compared with people who worked standard seven- or eight-hour days.

What would Big 4 think if i went for a working holiday after completing ACCA ? So there'll be like a 6-9 months gap between me completing ACCA and searching for work

It's Cubik assessment, one's verbal, another is numerical. Anyway, going to the group interview on 3rd July

Can anyone know which big 4 firm has opened for the recruitment session for the junior audit associate? Because I had recently completed my last paper and an OBU degree (second upper). Thanks.

I applied to KPMG and PWC online. I got replies from them within 5 working days. The application to EY was through the HR email, got a reply from them within 3 days. I would think it's reasonable to call them up after a week or so.

All are individually assessed. They practically take in anyone who passes the assessment, which is already a piece of cake.

Expect to see 80% of the candidates you meet that day to be accepted.
*
By take in you mean getting an offer or getting to the interview stage ?

New batches from July onwards are Industry Explorers, ie. you get to explore other industries for a year before committing yourself into a specific industry.

New leadership, new methods I guess.

That sounds rather promising ! How was the interview for you last time ?

Anyone has any idea how many candidates were there for the interview ? I spotted maybe 5/6 sessions with around 5/6 candidates/session.

I was interviewed by Ms. Ma from financial services. Lovely lady. It was more of a conversation, nothing technical.

Anyway, there are two intakes, 6 Aug and 6 Sept if I am not mistaken. Non-accounting graduates will be going in 1 Aug.

Anyone applied for PwC Tax and attended the assessment?
Does anyone know what would be the essay writing test about in PwC assessment? For e.g., what are we required to write or what is the essay question?
*
I still remember exactly what was asked but I am considering whether should I disclose or not. All I can say that it's not technical and it's super easy.
