No point to go for D3000, the D3100 is far superior in terms of sensor technology.

Yesterday at KLIMS is my first time using the tokina 50-135mm extensively and still trying to get used to it laugh.gif but it seems like my D90 body has a focusing problem, especially the right hand side autofocus point so quite alot of my pics miss focus sad.gif

If you needed to ask, then yes it will be hard. Use bounced flash off the walls or ceiling if you're indoors, or off camera flash, with a softbox if outdoors. If you're on holiday, just forget it and take some snapshots.

Or just hope the ambient lighting is good enough and shoot without flash. 35/1.8 or 50/1.8 will be more than enough.

yes, i m on a holiday.. is it 35 f/1.8 will help alot when shoot in low light compare to kitlens 18-105?coz lens change is not possible due to extreme temperature+wind...average outdoor will be -20C in coming 2 weeks time, i can either choose one of them...

my last trip was fun with 18105 + sb900. just regret didnt buy UWA earlier for landscape purpose. 18105 is damn good for all rounder. can zoom, can wide and yes quality is acceptable.
