your pop up flash is good enough to do a remote flash triggering on the SB600

The lighting is totally different from one area to another. Some areas got nice models, but lighting overpowered everything, wanna use my prime wide opened also felt very hesitant to do that, and somemore bounce also very hard.. as many people walking around, chances of people casting shadow is there...

Overall... still not satisfying enough to me....

Very tight LOL. It is superb on FX, but on DX? Damn tight.
Nice but at f/1.4 really need to make sure AF is ok.
*
Haha.. I won't mind using my 50mm if I can go further behind, but THEN.... so many people walking pass by, the model and the passers-by are blocking already... haihz

Ended up on my kitlens 80% of the time. Just used my 50mm for some bokeh on the car logos, engines, a few models close up shots.

I know some of the models, so they actually wait me for click shutter if there's passer by tongue.gif.
Don't regret tongue.gif. But I'll be going in again with 85mm xD.
*
That's why lens doesn't matter lor. Models matter. tongue.gif

No fate with the models yesterday, some of my shot either shot with awkward and imbalanced skintone color, or misfocusing, no skill sad.gif

Wrong, not all 50mm are like that. But then again, can see the box shape of the bokeh on 50mm o_O. This is wide open? If wide open should be round right?
What color profile are you using? Use sRGB for internet. If you use AdobeRGB, color is going to look washed out.
*
Maybe for my case lar... This is what I have realized in most of my pics. So PP is the only workaround for the washed out color for my lens (I'm using my cheap 50mm f/1.8D anyways)?

Hmm, I seldom use the 50mm f/1.8 wide open, usually about f/2.8. Image too soft to my liking. Just use it in Vivid color mode. Should be ok.
*
Alrighty then, will try to play around with that. Thanks. smile.gif

Note about 5dmark II, it take excellent pictures but i just can't stand the lousy focusing system and the speed of that thing, so damn slow... Later I will upload a video clip of D700 @ 8fps  brows.gif

Yeah but D90 doesnt have machine gun fps though laugh.gif
Indeed would be awesome but video recording is alot harder then taking photos, plus the editing process is the most mafan part. That's one of the main reason I dislike video recording tongue.gif
*
Well, if it's just a technical demonstration on the bokehlicious image output, maybe.

But I do agree. On video, it's a whole new world out there where there are other factors and variables that need to be taken care of, unlike photos.
