I feel like swapping lenses with my friend for a week. Coz I already can use 50mm on my 17-50, so I'm gonna swap my 50mm 1.4 for 85mm 1.8 for KLIMS. Is it a good idea?

QUOTE(celciuz @ Dec 5 2010, 11:59 AM) You can, the lighting is more than enough. If shoot cars only is easy, if shoot models then a bit tricky with the spot light. I see. So no need flash for the cars. SB900 + Demb for models? Very tight, maybe I went on Saturday a lot of people. Kept bumping and people kept pushing. Zzz, so irritating. I'm going on wednesday or thursday. Hopefully less people. Wanna try out 85mm too |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Dec 5 2010, 09:17 PM) Camera Nikon D90 I see, thanks a lot. Meaning this is one of the pics u actually manage to capture at 85mm? Haha Exposure 0.01 sec (1/100) Aperture f/1.4 Focal Length 85 mm ISO Speed 800 Exif. Its bad range. This one I standing kinda far! LOL. Still choosing between 50 f1.4 & 85 f1.8. For the 50mm, I feel that the my tamron will be able to do the same thing at 50mm, just lack a bit of sharpness |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Dec 5 2010, 11:51 PM) Nice! LOL. But this 1.8 version need to use at 2.8 to get the sharpness, so I need a flash with me. Can't use wide open like you loh, f1.4 somemore The 24mm is gonna be real useful. I'm considering one of those before Friday. *checks piggy bank* A lot of big fat zooms at the event, 70200 all over. See also sian -.- I even heard one of the guys bragging to his friend saying his 70200 no need flash etc. LOL~ Yeah 24mm is a must have, sharpness is amazing. Potrait also not that bad on DX |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Dec 6 2010, 06:52 PM) Bokeh is mediocore compared to Bliz's 70200 and D700. Which area? Chill, you can do it! Lucky I bring you to that area right? Got poisoned by looking at your and bliz' pictures. Hopefully my 50 f1.4 and 85 f1.8 will perform QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Dec 6 2010, 07:07 PM) I'm going on Wednesday or Thursday, hopefully there's still many cute models around |

QUOTE(Bliz @ Dec 6 2010, 07:35 PM) 50 F/1.4 is heaven, i was using my 50 1.4 for half of the shots... 85 F/1.8 just use F/2, stopped down more then u get ugly hexagon bokeh But mine is Nikkor AF-D lor. Not that sharp wide open but I'll try to use it carefully. Woah thanks for the info, the 85 belongs to my friend. He lent me the lens for 1 week. I'll use f2 then QUOTE(celciuz @ Dec 6 2010, 07:55 PM) Ohh mannnn This post has been edited by FaezFarhan: Dec 7 2010, 03:22 AM |
