Update.zip method does not work on froyo's recovery 3e anymore. You need kernel patching. Try z4root application.

happened to me too..
but i've installed z4root (recommended by xda-dev website), which u may dload from market.
it solve my prob...huhuh

thanks, will try to look for that

and what kernal you guys will recommend? its a bit laggy rite now, feel like either apply lagfix or flash kernal, i was using voodoo back in 2.1
before this some forummer suggested speedmod, so far thats the best?

Lol that showed how messed up Quadrant is. The result is all over the place.
SGS OCed to 1.6GHZ.

task killer app..a must have app in our phone? or just use the 'force stop' in running application?

don't think there's a need for that.. i'm on stock froyo+speedmod kernal+no lagfix.. its awesome..

mengsuan: how's the free SP? did it melt after you took it out? lol.. curious.

my k10I benchmarked at at 1380 only... before voodoo was at least 1500... sad... any tips on tweaks?

my benchmark only 965.. i disable da lagfix.. bfore dis i use OCLF on ecalir i got 2150++ ..

not required IMO as FROYO comes with task manager.. press and hold middle button..go in task manager..you can end any apps you want there..
there was an article talking about android has internal ram management..

Er... how do i apply tweaks ?
How do i get there? And also other forumes dun seem to need the lag fix yet are claiming incredible results.. sad.gif Mine however its driving me batty. rclxub.gif Help please ? And about my GPS locking issues... I can see up to 6 satellites... but i cant even lock a single one. any help plz from all the sifus... would be very grateful.
