For fastest lagfix, try ext2 all or ext4nj all.

'0' is a process used by Froyo C2DM. You cannot close it, neither to view the process.

Mine was problematic when new. It turned out fine after a while and same goes with Froyo. I did not have any thing changed on the settings. Accuracy was left to be on default 50m.

Update.zip method does not work on froyo's recovery 3e anymore. You need kernel patching. Try z4root application.

There is none.

The call timers are user resettable. Nothing like Nokia's life timer which records for life.

Check screen, camera and buttons. Connectivity such as wifi, voice call.

Nothing much that I can recall off. As long as it's working, that's the logic.

I'm afraid you don't have statistical method to judge if the phone is new. Only physical assumption by its condition.

My new SGS didn't come with recovery mode either. If there isn't a recovery mode, go to XDA, download the bootloader and flash it in.

JPU kernel is really different. You shouldn't mix with any other kernel at the moment.

It is intended to present you in desktop way. Turn the phone to landscape for easier viewing.

It isn't difficult to make one but I don't have the microUSB plug.

Added on December 11, 2010, 3:57 pmI use richtofen's 3br fix, flashed both PBL and SBL. Then I have recovery mode and download mode available by 3 buttons biggrin.gif
