Choose bigger SD card all the time, dont kena by the class. thats why maxis give you the class 2 as default. its the same. those class will affect your transfer rate in computers only.

Absolutely bro...hahaha...i got many pm asking abt sd ..n honestly i told them im just using 16g class 2 kingston ..all mod rom just mod the kernel to run class 10..but for performance is nothing..performance come from processor n free ram...not from sd..hehehe..for hd recording on canon camera just enough with class 6...no need class 10 looo...heheh..so y we need class 10??..

@Clockworkmod - I use 2.5.1.8 which is more stable imo and working for me.

I can't use 2.5.0.7 due to PVT4 iirc. Idk but I can't do ANYTHING when I flashed to that version. (can't install zips / backup, name em)

Tried to use 3.0.0.5 but it's buggy and it self-reverts back to 2.5.1.8 and I have no idea why, lol...buggy

yeah v3 is buggy. for CWM recovery, if its not broken, dont ever try other versions. just stick with that as long as you can flash custom roms and such happily. dont always go for latest.

Guys just need your input here. Just want to compare boot up time. I switched off my phone, used a stopwatch to see how long it takes to boot up till the unlock screen shows up.

Mine is S-OFF, so alot of time is taken with the joker holding the S-OFF card (why so serious?).

Total time till slide to unlock showed up : 54 seconds.

Please share yours.

P/s : My baby equipped with 2GB SD card.

btw, where's the place to check the battery %? I saw it previously, but now can't seems to find it again...rclxub.gif...

I think i need to buy spare batteries....those high powered MUGEN batteries any good?? Any good batteries recommendation (and safe one....i don't want cheap china batteries exploding in my face....sweat.gif).

you ask in Desire thread, of course everyone going to suggest you desire laugh.gif

you can consider white color HTC Desire, AP around 1.6k+, ORI should be 1.9k+- (not sure)

very sleek look, not too big, and very capable nod.gif

hello friends.. i am going to buy htc desire in the end of this month. to me it is great and perfect. the only downside of htc desire is the internal memory. on the paper it stated 512mb but of the box we can get around ~130mb (based on my research in the internet). can anyone clarify the best way to overcome this problem? it is annoying if installing a lot of apps then the 'low memory' message appeared. sad.gif

1) a user of htc desire told me, there are two ways to do it. traditional and the latest one. the old one is, we install the apps in the memory card but if coonect with the computer, than the apps in the memory card are not working. but not all apps can be put into the memory card right?

2) the latest one is partition the memory card. he said that the phone think that memory card is its internal memory so that apps can be installed in the memory card itself. is it true? shocking.gif

3) i am still newbie. please provide me the link to do that. i dont want 'low memory' msg appeared. or anyone provide the service? i will pay cool2.gif cool2.gif

Errr...lol.

Orait, Desire it is then.. Reason coz i still want to keep my Legend (she keep insisting she want this phone coz of the look).
So far my legend battery and performance quite ok. How about desire?

Googling this thread some said drain and get down really fast? And is it true on the heating issue?

battery and performance will be better than the Legend,
initially it will be quite bad, will require a daily charging,
after using it for awhile, and doing all the battery saving measures,
it can last about 3 days on light usage, 1 day on heavy usage
the heating issue, more like being slightly warmer, which isn't a problem at all

Someone asked me about REBOOTING ISSUE with Desire. Might as well update here. Sent to SIS and they said it was motherboard issue. Changed mother board no issue.

You will notice that the device will run hot ~ 37 deg C or higher and you can feel it even through the leather holder, than device will reboot.

So far the device running cooler at low 30's with full works running, GPS, etc.

If you have Rebooting issues, insist on motherboard change. Good thing my unit still under warranty.
