hello friends.. i am going to buy htc desire in the end of this month. to me it is great and perfect. the only downside of htc desire is the internal memory. on the paper it stated 512mb but of the box we can get around ~130mb (based on my research in the internet). can anyone clarify the best way to overcome this problem? it is annoying if installing a lot of apps then the 'low memory' message appeared.
1) a user of htc desire told me, there are two ways to do it. traditional and the latest one. the old one is, we install the apps in the memory card but if coonect with the computer, than the apps in the memory card are not working. but not all apps can be put into the memory card right?
2) the latest one is partition the memory card. he said that the phone think that memory card is its internal memory so that apps can be installed in the memory card itself. is it true?
3) i am still newbie. please provide me the link to do that. i dont want 'low memory' msg appeared. or anyone provide the service? i will pay

root your phone and flash a custom ROM that has a2sd+, problem solved
using for Desire for few months so far, never have any problem with the internal memory

Errr...lol.
Orait, Desire it is then.. Reason coz i still want to keep my Legend (she keep insisting she want this phone coz of the look).
So far my legend battery and performance quite ok. How about desire?
Googling this thread some said drain and get down really fast? And is it true on the heating issue?
battery and performance will be better than the Legend,
initially it will be quite bad, will require a daily charging,
after using it for awhile, and doing all the battery saving measures,
it can last about 3 days on light usage, 1 day on heavy usage
the heating issue, more like being slightly warmer, which isn't a problem at all
