just a question as i am fairly new to this homeplug thing..
is it usable with just any plug in the whole house?
and also, does it affect the performance of the bandwidth/internet?
one more last question.. lets say the unifi personnel installed my modem and router upstairs, can i use homeplug to connect the IPTV downstairs?

The poor wireless signal from the 615 is a well known problem. My installers laughed when they noticed my complaint of 2 bars signal downstairs, itu biasa they said. If you have followed previous threads, the best solution is to use the mikrotik switch as the gateway or now with the impending solution by changing to a TPlink 841 router with the yet to be released "unifi compatabile firmware". You will also have noticed that the 615 runs hot and if u run it 24/7, the chances of early failure is high. The works of bro Riz and Klseet to find a solution for the 615 should be commended. Read their blogs and you'll find all the solutions there.

Cheers

**TM would like to inform all customers that all calls to the TM UniFi Centre at 1- 300 88 1222 / 1221 will be subject to a charge of 8 cents for the 1st 2 mins of the call and 4 cents per minute subsequent. 1-300 numbers are used by many companies in the service industry. As this service is regulated, the call charges are as mentioned. The call plan offered through the UniFi service offers FREE (for VIP package) nationwide calls to all TM fixed lines only, 24x7. These are for the normal TM fixed lines (PSTN numbers).

NOT all fixed line are TM's. Found out the hard way when some of the fixed lines, especially business numbers showed cost in the bill!!! tongue.gif

Try resetting the set top box. If still cannot, reset everything, modem, router, etc.
