hey, i would like to ask about the FUP. i know its not implement yet but lets say they have already implement it and i used more than 60GB that particular month (assume that im on VIP5). What will happen if i use more than 60GB? they will throttle my speed or what? i hate being capped =[ the feeling of being restricted lol. anyone mind explaining how it works? thanks

QUOTE(nonadoes @ Dec 6 2010, 12:52 AM) Hi, got a question want to ask, my company just apply biz10 line. which is also fix IP. However, when we setup we encounter problem. all pc can connect to UNIFI via wifi, but cannot connect via LAN. only one ip can be use for LAN, try to connect to a router but still not successful. any idea on the settings? Unifibiz WIFI has NAT support, meaning everyone will be placed on a 192.168.x.x/24 subnet and can share the connection. Any device that connects to the LAN port on the other hand will have to use a fixed static IP address. I think most companies addressed this issue by connecting a secondary router/firewall appliance to the LAN port of the DIR-615 and setting the WAN connection type to static IP (for that secondary device, that is). QUOTE(outdoorxplorer @ Dec 5 2010, 11:26 PM) Appointment to install is fixed on December 08, 2010 and I will ensure the contractor have the fiber optic connected up to my 1st floor apartment. I have ordered RB750G from ItsBit Singapore and it will be shipped tomorrow via EMS. Total cost is US$85.02 paid via PayPal. Should receive it on the day the UniFi is up. I have having problem figuring out how to config the RB750G since I am using MAC unless I can config through VMWare. Appreciate anyone who can guide me on configuring the VLAN, IPTV, Firewall, NAT and Port Forwarding.. http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Category:Manual the entire thing is there. ____________________________________ btw, I am just curious, we have use up all the 110.159 IP range? I am getting 175 range these days. I dont think we have enough Unifi Accs numbers to finish those 110.159 yet....

However there's several apartment(usually low rise apartment such as 4 floor) that I see is serve by fibre optic My residence is within this category and I hope the contractor will have fiber optic feed to my unit on 1st floor. I shall report the outcome on or after Wednesday. Meanwhile, the RM750G is on its way from Singapore. Order was made from MikroTik's distributor ItsBit Pte Ltd. The price including EMS is reasonable and furthermore PayPal is accepted.

Actually you can retain you phone number by maintaining 2 lines, 1 old and 1 new. But you will have to pay the monthly charges for the old number. Maybe keep for sometimes until most of your contact got your new number.
