I think it's possible if you have two socket of phone lines, but why? Unifi is very fast one, and you don't need to use streamyx.

Upon arrival at your home or office, our technician will brief you on the step-by-step process of the entire installation. This includes:

(i) Site assessessment (outdoor and indoor)
(ii) Cable entrance (drilling point for FTTx)
(iii) Equipment termination point
(iv) Route of wiring

In the case of FTTx installation, our technician will determine the location of the Fibre Distribution Point (FDP), whether it is located on an overhead pole, or underground. If the underground fibre access is blocked due to any home or office renovation, it may require a longer installation period than for overhead fibre access installation.

For VDSL2, site assessment is much quicker since our technician need only access the building’s MDF room and perform the necessary cabling there.
Note: VDSL2 - your existing Streamyx or Business Broadband access will be disabled during this exercise.

May i know what differences between VDSL2 and Fiber line ?

For normal streamyx subscriper, what is the line actually ? VDSL2 ?
I will be staying in condo but on 4th floor only, so can get fiber line ??
And whats your unifi packages comes with ? any extra gift/ benefit from agents ?
*
VDSL2 can deliver up to 200mbps and Fiber can up to 1000mbps. Quiet different huh. laugh.gif
BTW with current package that Unifi offer, using VDSL2 is not be a problem at all.

Hmm.. not that one... I am not sure with the term "HD TV", "LCD TV", "PC LCD monitor"

Am I right if I rate its quality in this order??  maybe not correct... blink.gif
1. HD TV
2. PC LCD Monitor
3. LCD TV

I prefer to buy the PC LCD monitor, so can watch HyppTV thru Unifi and also can use for computer gaming/working , my wish is to obtain a best quality one

Thanks again for any info  notworthy.gif

I am not sure which one is the best. HD TV also moving into LCD/LED tech these days. Not sure on how to differentiate them. I guess it's about the same. You might want to head to an another thread regarding these techs. The difference, one of them that I know of, is the size of display. Most of them are able to support HD resolution already.

Hence, newer LCD TVs also can be used as a monitor and vice versa.

My friend works in top management of tmnet told me unifi is a loss business, they make loss instead of profit with unifi.. The cost is very high, that's why implementation to other area is very slow.. The subsidies given by govt via broadband initiative wasn't good enuf.. When I ask when kelantan will get one, he laughed and said in 10years time..

Hey does anyone experience slow downloading and uploading around Lapangan Subang area? And I seems to also experience problems connecting to my router. Are these problems indicates that the Dlink is broken? Thanks

Dear All, quick questions:
1. Any difference in speed if using VDSL2 (high rise), compared to Fiber optic (landed)
2. Can we still renew ip address (currently using streamyx + jdownloader for free download -> can renew ip address by reconnecting PPOE)?

Thank you so much.
*
2. No.

because the streamyx is still under contract and the owner of the streamyx line does not want to go unifi at the moment. there was a booth in front of our condo (bistari condo near pwtc) over the weekend and i asked the same question they said having streamyx and unifi at the same time is not possible.

so i'm guessing ours is VDSL2 (staying at bistari condo near pwtc)

Supposely. Maybe the IP is dynamic by day and not by connection like Streamyx. That question been asked before by someone wondering why jdownloader not working right.
