Thanks to everyone who guide me for installing Nitroid on my N900.

my first using [s]android[s/] Nitdroid.. damn nice man...

two major things needs to be done

first is to OC in Nitdroid...

second pray for telephony service to be included as soon as poss...

read my thread in tmo, under N900, i did ask for proper documentation for uboot, but the maintaner of uboot told that currently uboot is only configurable for dual boot btween maemo and meego..

but it doesnt mean that uboot cannot be configured for other kernel/os, it can..but u have to do it via hard way..and i mean really hard..

SEA, try experimenting with the tutorial i gave u about configuring uboot in pm..i know it wasnt so clear..but, that's the best i can help..i have yet to try it myself..as i am currently very bz.. sorry though..

last time i tried, it wasnt successful..

here's an advice..if letsay u often boot into other kernel such as power46,nitdroid, or meego..i'd suggest u use uboot..its hard..i knew that..i tried..

but if u dont boot into other kernel that often, u r better off with multiboot..like for example, booting into nitdroid once in 2 or 3 days..or other power kernel, so yeah..multiboot makes ur life easier..

unless u boot into nitdroid or other kernel twice a day, then i strongly advise u to try and configure until u manage to boot using uboot..

as u know, using multiboot too often will damage the NAND flash..unlike multiboot, uboot doesnt flash into other kernel/os, but rather, it LOADS the kernel/os from the specific path that u need to configure yourself...so it involves a lot of work and trial&error..

what the good of uboot?  any different with multiboot? look like many people want it badly

OC-ing NITDroid is easy...Refer to FP.
Trouble is I don't know head & tail of the uboot.I have to start with your guide 1st.
Simply say multiboot will flash the NAND memory to load the kernel of the OS.Some claim(in theory it's true) that this will reduce the lifespan for the NAND memory.
uboot will simply load the kernel from saved location & won't affect NAND memory.
Update to PR 1.3.Currently you're on PR 1.1

Guys, for the email setting, should I opt for full mesagges or just partial?
Is there a reason for it to be defaulted at partial (lagging/stability)?

nitdroid still need  external memory card to install or just use the embedded one ?

try not to turn on extra-deve when updating, they are mostly causing all the problem (but you also get the first hand on new function )

Reducing the life span of NAND memory is not true.
That's what the professionals told me SIFU
