Since there is prob with ur conversation, i cannot recommend u to used the backupmenu function..

For apps, setting, contact, calendar..
U can using the backup function on the n900 itself..

Or if u don't want to reflash, juz uninstall the last thing u install b4 this happen..huhu

i got tis problem becoz my msn~~too many conversation at 1 times come in~~so tat conversation broken~T^T
n y my n900 cant look like youtube video like tat can open many webpage n conversation will not lag?

I'm having no prob running a few webpage, conversation and music with stock setting (w/o OC)

It seems ur conversation db damage..
Try google for solution on it maybe other forumer will answer on this..

But they only can help if u can provide more detail on how the prob occur..
What the last thing u install on the phone, etc..

Btw..if me face that prob, i juz reflash the phone to its original state..
and juz restore back all my msg/apps/contact etc

(simple solution, don't want to "pening2" )

Lol..i got internet prob just now..double post..
I only manage to dlete it, then internet down again..

still have~~open facebook thn cant open another webpage~
or whn open some app got msg come in~open tat will lag at there 5~20 sec thn oni open it~

something must be reside in your phone memory and keep running, more like a virus some sort, i believe in old thread talks about using htop or something to identify what is running background and kill it manually

just grab a n900 few days back.. looks like it need some times to well understand this devices.. damn.. even my FM transmitter oso cannot use one.. oledi set accordingly at my devices as well at my car player.. still no sound from my n900.. not even single beep.. fm boost oso launch d..
btw.. i would like to ask u guys opinion regarding voice+data plan.. which is the best? speed and stability..

the best data plan currently is the hotlink 500MB X12 plan = RM150. I am using it for my nokia N900 and ipad

I think you better flash your phone, you never know what the 1st hand did to the phone, he might even mod it too heavy that he scared might blow and sold to you

check the first thread on how to flash your whole phone, backup all your data and try the kernel flash first, it won't touch your data(but better backup), if not good, go further to flash the mmc also

and even you ask at maemo chinese site, they will also ask you to flash the easiest way
