Hehehehehehe.............
guyssssss.....i got 1 superb news....i think i just corrupted my Internal storage... My File manger shows No Memory...when i check on the "memory usage" It said Device Memory corrupted..... Lost all my files, pictures, maps, modification files... Anyone faced this before? or im the 1st...if no solution then its Reflashing time..... I still can access MyDocs area thru winSCP...but no other files or folder in there... T.T Added on December 22, 2010, 2:34 amcant even do backup as it does not detect the External memory & the Internal Memory...phone can start up as normal, everything loads as normal...can still OC and all those sorts... Any solution for backing up? Added on December 22, 2010, 2:40 amI suspect is because of the USB cable connection keep on Attach and detaching itself...resulting to Data corruption... suspecting either the Cable malfunctioning or the USB port malfunctioning...So beware guys... sudden disconnect/reconnect of the device could corrupt your memory... Quoting from a guy in Nokia Eero Tamminen 2009-10-28 18:51:52 EET (In reply to comment #5) > Ah! I thought this was only me! About a week after using my 2009.41 N900 I > noticed this behavior, I now have to remount MyDocs RW on every bootup. In general most likely reasons for the FAT corruption is "user error": - removing battery (or even just back cover) while FAT is being written - removing USB cable without doing the "safely remove" on the PC side first Could the issue be result of either of these? If the device HW watchdog resets the device while FAT was being written, that will corrupt it also. If device reboots because of the HW watchdog, the /proc/bootreason file will contain value "32wd_to". Have you had those? (FAT is used because of compatibility reasons, all USB mass storage devices support FAT by default. However, Microsoft's FAT file system is very fragile in regards to disconnects/power loss.) Added on December 22, 2010, 3:00 amReally sad case...dunno when i wanna reflash it... Gud nite all ^.^ This post has been edited by angelbratz: Dec 22 2010, 03:00 AM |

Aside from sygic...i iz use googlemaps. http://noknok.tv/2010/01/18/get-google-map...our-nokia-n900/ this the most convenient google maps for me. Never failed me yet.... BUT...Sygic failed me once...Using old road from Cameron on the way back to KL...it diret me to Kawasan perindustrian Rawang...and then direct me to an Unknown Dark road...No cars, no street lights...i then have to use my own judgement how to get out from there....really scary where the Sygic direct me to.... |
