The RAE passing mark is 50%

Good luck on the test later. The key to passing is to do past year questions. haha since they recycle stuff.
If you have a basic electronics background it should be a breeze for you.

I heard the new passing mark is at 40%. This is the information from the counter. But do not know how true is that. To play safe, aim for 50% and above...

Where is your location? If you're on Facebook, look for marts or any local amateur radio groups there and ask.

Happy Friday biggrin.gif

I just got myself a Mototrbo/DMR capable radio recently.

Wondering if there are any seniors in here using DMR as well. Need advice and experiences if you guys are willing to share. I am still clueless about the whole DMR thing. Is there a HAM community or repeater that uses this?

The Freq range is UHF. Currently I am using it to contact my HAM friends on the UHF simplex band. Yet to try to reach any UHF repeater(also scared will clash with repeaters that are actually being used for APRS purposes. )

For those who haven't check the FB lately, you should've realised by now that SKMM has announced that they're now allowing 40M band for class B license holders.
