Great stuff, let me go home tonight and dig out the schematic and see which are the FM filters. Keeping it on top of my pc for 2 years killed it? Luckily my 8978 still works haha. Thanks wiraone.

Ok just downloaded the schematic and its too complicated. wiraone, know anyone willing to take on this repair? Could also be some alignment menu that I messed up haha.

Tips? Last minute one? smile.gif During the receiving test, ask the testers to do a second run. Most of the time they'll let you guys have a second run. This is the time you can check/fill-in empty spaces.

During sending, if you make an error, do send the 6 Es (dits) and restart sending the word again (yes, repeat the whole word even if you're at the end already .. word and not sentence ah!). The same goes when you make an error while sending the numeric group, resend the whole group. For me, the hardest part while sending is when the alphabet has more than 3 dits .. H,4,5,6 .. haha..

And good luck!

I thought I was too, so, I went for a CW class, I still can't decipher CW faster than 12WPM w/o leaving some smile.gif Another tip, the testers will give you few minutes to copy what you've decipher in your scrap paper into the answer paper, this is the time if you need to use your bahasa skill .. fill in the blank(s).. and that what I did really smile.gif Only thing, this can't be done on the numeric part of the test, so, you need to concentrate more when receiving the numeric part of the test.
