Hey there. Congrats on your buy. Honestly, have no idea what a J.D. Guitar is...... I assume it's an acoustic?

But anyway..... you should join the general thread if you want guitar tips and stuff...... we're trying to reserve this thread about the cheap guitars that are for sale and how good they are.

I guess you can go to www.guitar.com or www.ultimate-guitar.com for SOME lessons....... but don't depend on 'em too much....

So start saving then.

You can get a good SX electric guitar around Rm850 or so ... or less.

Is Squire Strat Calirfornia Series (Affinity) a bargain? Last I heard it retails around RM 595 at Bentley. I know there is other forum discussing this, but I'm really interested at this particular model.

Reason is that it can perfectly fit Fender pickup if I decide to change it in the future.

Well the Squier strats are pretty good guitars for the price but they're not really consistent, quality-wise. Try a few models you could get your hands on (The Guitar Store has some Squiers too) and pick the best from them. smile.gif

Btw, almost every strat copy can perfectly fit any brand of singlecoil pickups available in the market. biggrin.gif

Quality Wise? You mean that it's not standard? I understand its an off-model of Fender but can it be that bad?

Where's the Guitar Store anyway...

Heh why not? No matter what guitar you buy, you have to check for flaws first.

There's a branch in Damansara Perdana and another in Sri Petaling.

IIRC, MAS doesn't offer not efx pedals. tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif wink.gif

I suggest you check out CK Music, they usually have a healthy dose of Zoom pedals on display. biggrin.gif

Ooooooh. another BLS Member for life!! SDMF Bro!!!

And yeah, the G2.1u is increasingly hard to find. I remember Chambers Music in Sungai Wang brings in some Zoom products (I got my Zoom 505 AND Zoom GFX3 from there). I remembered a G2.1u about 3-4 months back. If they don't have it, you can always ask them to order it for you. They seem nice to me.....
