It IS based in Malaysia. Maybe we get someone to open an account and buy in bulk? probably will get cheaper too, try to negotiate with them -+♦+- LYN PROTON PERSONA CLUB V10 -+♦+-,

QUOTE(jackyap84 @ Dec 7 2010, 10:15 PM) I shall try to contact the dealer & ask him about the conditions for buying in bulk. Perhaps its better for us to get the combo sets in bulk? Includes clearcoat, wax/tar/grease remover & the rubbing compound for RM55.90. Maybe if we get it in bulk it'll be a lot cheaper. This post has been edited by xandras: Dec 7 2010, 10:26 PM |

QUOTE(xandras @ Dec 7 2010, 09:59 PM) Cheras. Darn it. U just reminded me of the scratch on my car Taiwan made SSR got 17"... Hmmm interesting.. Never seen 17" for SSR before.. Stupid proton want to use 4 hole with pcd 114.3.. so difficult to find rims for this combination.. Normally 4holes (japanese) is pcd 100 and 5holes (european) is pcd 114.3.. The my fav light rims all cant fit in.. Especially those Advanti super light rims. Oh, almost forgot. I almost kena potong just now too. 3.5k for a set of Taiwan-made SSR rims & Bridgestone Potenza RE001 215/45/17 tyres, and the 3.5k is after they subtracted the trade-in AND plus all the bolts and centre cones and pressure valves. Those three are usually given FREE by most tyre shops. Bolt 125 bucks, centre cones 100 bucks, pressure valves 60 bucks. f*** them. Never go to the tyre shop at Taman Segar, with a big Michelin sign on it. QUOTE(ahpaul82 @ Dec 7 2010, 10:03 PM) This friday, 8.30pm at milennium motorsport sunway. Coming? |

QUOTE(xandras @ Dec 7 2010, 01:18 AM) WUR = World Underground Racing check out the new R3 rimToo much NFS lol. Eh, I saw the bid for WUS 2 on the board when I went there for my car number. 42 or 47k @@ Tendered by some company. Crazy. WUS 1 tender price only 31k, surprisingly. No reserve price. Tendered by some chinese dude. Too much money nowhere to spend ar? 31k + my Persona 55k = Ford Fiesta Added on December 7, 2010, 12:28 am Erm, rims cracking or bent wouldn't be that of a serious issue, unless it actually breaks in half or got separated. That is why, it's up to our own budgets to get quality rims. And if that actually happened, I don't think there would be anyone naive enough to go back to Proton to claim for the damaged parts. And how sure are you that original rims are much more solid than the aftermarket ones? I should really do a pressure test on my rims when I'm changing it, if possible. Then I'll bring up the results here. If safety is your main concern, then yes, I agree with you that some aftermarket stuffs are not safe on the road if installed without safety in mind. No matter how much you jack up the power of your car, you will still need to rely on brakes to bring the car to a complete halt. Upgrading performance stuffs while using stock brakes is suicidal. Steel rims are way 'softer' than alloys, yet I've not heard or seen anyone got into an accidents and died just because they're running on SRs. I'm now convinced that you're against car modifications, either aesthetic-wise or performance-wise. |

After the 4th traffic light you try look at your right hand side got 1 petronas, the SC just beside petronas. Quite small SC.

My car had trouble starting up this morning, instead of the usual engine starting up sound, I got this clicking sound when I tried to ignite the engine
Going to SC to do my 1K service, any stuff that I need to do, and recommendation for engine oil? Read that Shell HX-7 is recommended by forummers here? Thanks. |
