Hi guys, got myself a new Persona, but noticed that the seatbelt indicator does not light up in the meter. Is this normal for all Personas? and the player does not play music from my USB thumbdrive as well, going to try with another thumbdrive later doh.gif

man, i like your quote, it reminds me most of the accidents is bcos of retardness. a lousy driving skill thinking himself the DK. originally i'd take myvi or vios, but i ended up in choosing PE B-Line. no abs nor airbags, what it matters not your car, but attitude. speaking of PE, gosh, loan still not approved yet, sigh, got clean record still need guarantor, blackie list should need at least 10 guarantor ma... yeah! i got my plate number at jpj bandar sri permaisuri this morning, took full day leave cos WUR still not released even after 9am. spended as minimum as RM210 rclxms.gif
next on the list: approve loan and get my goddman car!
*
Gosh, so fast WUR already? WUQ was released just last week doh.gif

of course no la, choi khui dou soh(i'm sohai if i stick my neck on it)! those are golden numbers. there's no maximum limit, only minimum amount, 10k per single digit number. i take wur got reasons ma, GT-R for Gran Turismo Racer, WUR for Wild Until Race! 3.65 for 5,7, and 9 yrs. very kesian if cant get approved. only guarantor standing between the line cry.gif
*
which showroom did you go to? the SA who I found in this forum provided superb service, till I feel embarrassed to ask for more stuff from him. btw, 3.65% for all 5, 7 and 9 years? are you sure? then everyone would have taken 9 years loan due to same interest rate. when I bought mine last week, it was 3.65% for 5 years, 3.90% for 7 years and 4.x% for 9 years blink.gif

i wen to serdang showroom, recengine there, the place to eat paper wrapped chicken. he promised me a lot of free gifts too, until i really paiseh to ask for more smile.gif
*
let me guess, vincent818 from the autogarage? tongue.gif

by theory a bank wouldn't offer same interest rate structure for loans of different maturity, else nobody will want to borrow for shorter period as the net amount that they are paying would still be the same (shorter period, higher installment, longer period, lower installment, but total amount you paying would still be the same). I am not sure if RHB Islamic has any T&C for the 3.65% but perhaps everyone should do more study about Islamic loans before committing as they are a little different than the conventional loans (they do not earn "interest", but they earn profit through "profit-sharing").

kinda agreed what you said. there's no free meal in this world, sigh....
guess i have to accept reality and take the hit, 4% interest...
*
Oh well, don't be discouraged, perhaps you can ask the officer to explain to you in detail how the 3.65% for 9 years work, and if there is any T&C. Just keep in mind that Islamic loan is a little bit more tricky than conventional loan, need some time to understand how it works smile.gif

Damn persona takda pickup power...slow like hell...But from back can feel power...

Perhaps it would be better with CPS? Persona is marketed as a functional car instead of those sporty type, so can't expect much. It's good enough for me (compared to my old Wira 1.5) smile.gif

My car had trouble starting up this morning, instead of the usual engine starting up sound, I got this clicking sound when I tried to ignite the engine sad.gif Had to try for numerous times before the engine willing to start. Kinda suspecting either the battery or the immobilizer acting up, any idea what else could have caused the problem? The car is only 1 week+ old doh.gif

Going to SC to do my 1K service, any stuff that I need to do, and recommendation for engine oil? Read that Shell HX-7 is recommended by forummers here? smile.gif

Thanks.

Sent my car for 1k service at Serdang's SC this morning, instead of CoSE after reading the "oh you'd be surprise" comment sweat.gif

Friendly staff, comfortable waiting room with AXN and free coffees, and quick service (1.5 hours) thumbup.gif Only gripe is they do not have stock for orifice valve and the weird noises from windscreen remain unfixed (suspect due to thick security tint film).

that guy know how to tune the ECU. he got his own formula, he manage to tune the ECU to work with the engine with 100% of the engine capable. according to him, he will unlock the ECU, and put in the record which he tested. after the new ECU mapping, persona can cincai tapao 1.8cc car. of course, FC reliable and smooth, he emphasize. anywhere, he do it undergound and will need to charge for RM80.
*
i see, perhaps would request for ECU tuning + orifice valve installation during my 5k service.
found a tiny bubble in my tinting today, sigh sad.gif

put it this way, Persona is a wild horse, it needs to be tame them only they will let u ride on it. i usually just twist my key to 'On' first, then wait the airbag light off, then only ignite/crank the engine. When turn off the engine, i off the aircon first, then only turn off the engine slowly, thats why now i havent had any problem with the engine start only some minor problem not sure you guys had face it before or not. the air con tend to turn on by itself even the knob already in the off position, then it off by itself after 2-3sec or sometimes on off on off in within 2-3 sec, anyone face this problem before? weird indeed if u ask me... only happened once in awhile like once a month, hmm....
*
i did the same, but still faced ignition problem, only once though *touch wood*
the technician in Serdang SC told me to change the gear to "N" first, then only start the engine if such case happens again, not sure workable or not laugh.gif
