Get new PE lor. Got 2 years warranty.


Used one sometimes very hard to say. Donno how the previous owner treat it.

i must say, PE is quite a good car for the money mang. Maybe need to do some roof/door sound proof. But overall i feel the power and acceleration is very usable in town. even highway is good.

Handling very comparable to my 1st gen perdana v6. In fact zippier.
Power wise. Of course, uhhh not as good as the v6. Lol but i am not complaning. Like i say, power is very usable.
Comfort. Well a lil bit noisy for PE and seat not as good as the V6. But heck more comfy than wira n all the p2 range. Hahahaha.


only complain, aircon is freezing cold in the morning and nite mang. Donno anyone can fix it or not. hahaha.

The soundproof....manyak mahal la.

Need wait warranty over then go do it

still in dilemma?

no cars are perfect, just go for what u could afford thats it. mine is still in mint condition because of im willing to spend times to take care of the car, and if u have d determination and $$ to maintain a car, even a half way to be scrapped car also can get back to mint condition, let alone new car.

ya mang. Do by stages i think would more affordable lor. LOL very tempted to do autofoam road killer package. Start frm RM380 ohh.

is it just me or the radio is sometime stupid... need to push multiple time to turn it on...

Mine so far no problem. Hehehe. but steering wheel button not tat sensitive. really need to press it with lil force.

good car! bcos i have 1 too. hahahaha. fast compare to peer competitors, comfortable, reasonable fuel consumption, cheap spare parts, COOL AIRCON!

too bad H/line too pricey, i only could afford Bline. but only braking system is my main concern. front brake not impressive, rear drum brake is a bit risky for us (locking sound). da prob is not solved. i thk proton neds to recall all PE due to rear brake issue n change it to disc brake. is tat possible? hahaha. *pray

PE owner shud proud because using good tech (32bit ecu, IAFM, improved NVH..bla..bla..) comparing previous 2007 model. mine proud using 1st model..until now no problem except stupid rattling around dashboard while revving 30-40km/h..
other feels good mang NVH is good altough im using quite loud exhaust LOL

anynone experience sound when getting butt in or out of the car..sounds like gt some parts loose di..or i weight too much?? lol..hw to solve it..help..my tires all well pumped..izit sth to do with dry out absorber or undercarriage stuff??

Maybe try pulling ur handbrake higher.. Is it the krrrkkk sound coming from the wheel like that? Its actually the sound of the brake slipping a bit..

Old Persona dont have this problem!

XD

wow..reali no sound le..swt..persona handbrake has to pull very high lo..thou i adi ask sc to tighten it..sigh~

another prob..anyone exp right hand side of dashboard rattling sound (around the lubang like aircond lubang thr) when reving high..

dashboard rattling sound is normal...i usually just give it a slap~
Now only right hand got sound? left hand side will join in soon
