Maybe try pulling ur handbrake higher.. Is it the krrrkkk sound coming from the wheel like that? Its actually the sound of the brake slipping a bit..

dashboard rattling sound  is normal...i usually just give it a slap~

Well actually the handbrake is mechanically linked to the rear brakes only.    So if u pull ur handbrakes only the back brake will work.. Not the front.. (Very good for drifting!!!) Since the back is brake shoe only.. It will be softer lah.. So need to pull higher..

Dashboard rattling sound is actually due to no insulation between the screw and the dashboard. So when rattling the screw will loosen a bit. I will post some pics later on how i DIY it to eliminate rattling lah.. So far so good.. hehe..

PE actually comes with stock 13mm Anti-roll bar.. So thats y the car can corner beautifully with just a touch of understeer.. Even inspira is tuned for more understeer than PE.. Lotus magic in the working..

Aftermarket bars like UltraRacing also starts at 16mm to 19mm and 23mm.. Dont go too thick lah.. 16mm more than enuf to induce quite a lot of oversteer.. 23mm i think can tear ur suspension right out under hard cornering.. Lotus tuned is mostly tune the suspension rebound and spring rate only. But if changed to aftermarket shocks than the tuning will be messed up ady and no more Lotus..

Ur welcome.. Better get 2 point front bar.. If 3 point then later ur dashboard going to vibrate more with the extra vibration from the engine..

PE take croner quite good la..always do a fast corner confidently bcoz of the lotus tuning ..

U guys pay banyak for lotus tuning,den u go buy strut bar,wont it upset the tuning?...nampak canggih oni,but i think the few mm count or not u oso tak tau..unless u alwiz drifting..hehe

Struts wont upset the tuning right? It just actually prevents flexing of the suspension tower.. But then yeah struts is more of a placebo effects.. Best effects still better use ARB and sound deadening materials. Most perceivable effect at most of the time and bang for the buck too.

I planning to change to hi-comp pistons maybe 1 year down the road.. Get more power!!! hehe.. Can increase low end torque a lot.. Maybe can fight with Vtec engine.. hehe..

LOL bro.. All that considered ady.. Part of the package.. Change piston very cheap lah.. I not going to get those forged heads ROSS pistons (RM2.4k ).. Can get S4PE piston head and plug and play into S4PH engine.. Use back 1.6conrod of current engine.. The S4PE piston head bulges out a bit.. So it will increase compression from 10:1 to at least 11:1 or higher.. Not sure because i hvnt done any measurements yet. S4PH cam lift is 5.8mm. So if change piston ady cannot install hi-cam if not engine sure gone case..

Ya, if the comp ratio is above 11:1, then most likely have to use ron97. I rmb reading a topic in kereta.info on comparison of different brand of ron95 petrol with video posted. Later when im back home i will post the video with explanation for your understanding.

Just replaced my ATF at RM124 for 4 litres plus labor RM18, total RM142.00.

ATF was replaced at 26k KM. The magnetic drain plug was heavily coated with metal shavings.

Mate, r u sure about tis?  My M/T only could run under 10 seconds after 1st service. after 2nd service my car bcom weaker. mayb da ECU already recognised my driving style.

i juz fulfilled my tank wif RON95=RM65.00 (usually RON97=RM75.00). wat i can say about da differences r unbelievable! RON95 sounds cheap like 30 liters make u save rm9.00 from RON97 but not really. i seldom use RON95 since da v 1st day i got my car, so i can notice da diffence clearly.

1. throttle response bcom slower
2. i could hear da engine underpowered sound wen i change gear in low RPM (like engine almost off)
3. power unstable wen i cruise at low RPM
4. engine sounds louder at idle as like it breathe harder.
5. wen i get down from car, i could feel da engine temperature is higher
6. all those above gave me a horrible driving experience, vv horrible
7. fuel consumption from 8.8l/100km to 10.1l/100km, for same routine trip

*i used RON95 bcos i couldn't any gas station within 50km tat sells RON97 during long distance driving.

those r my experience wif RON95. i use SHELL bcos here we don have BHP n Caltex n so on.

well if u tarik until 5000 rpm.... is totally a different story..... i never tried  tat high.. at 4000 rpm.. can already feel the roaring of the engine....  is all about the torque and rpm ..

For PE, I saw some of the forumers saiying that, FC reduce and power slightly increase after ECU firmware upgraded to version 3.9. Anyone experienced this?

All other remain the same.
