Tikus in air vent = cause by the those fins , even u change new set , will come back, (design problem). Need to DIY to Fix the sound. ( i put Double Side Foam tape put between the fins and the housing)

As for ur rotor...just go claim at Serdang SC, no need go CoSE except u have time for it. Serdang SC still ordering those assembly for my car, but i already fix at CoSE, maybe they will have extra set) tongue.gif
*
bro, capture some photo share with us how u fix the air vent sound. can kah?

Just back from Serdang SC fix the window klok klok sound again. CoSE unable to fix, they just Grease it, when went to Serdang SC,.,they open up and say CoSE use wrong grease, ( i also puzzle lo), must use a try a grease dark gray colour. So far no sound for the moment, (Crossing Finger) ..

Also go personally ask that fella about the tuning. He say will improve the pickup and the throttle fill feel light. (Maybe the next service i ask him try tune).
As for ZenGTMM brake rotor. I ask also, he say if all still stock. Can claim warranty.
*
bro, u tune 1st, then let us know the result. urs is 32 bit ECU?

Added on December 30, 2010, 1:56 am
QUOTE(muslayer @ Dec 29 2010, 04:35 PM)
Dunno...Hopefully...can settle...
That fella say 16 Bit ECU more potential to tune.. hahaha dunno true or not
*
that guy more expert in 16 bits ecu. the new 32 bits he still doing reseach on it. according to him, he almost come out the formula. should be can apply to production already.

I am happy with my 2009 Persona compared to my previous new MyVi that i driven for 4 years, shit car low QC.

Current mileage 30k KM.

Problems i had with my 2009 Persona are:

MAJOR
1. IAFM faulty at around 5k KM. - Tak tak tak tak sound heard while engine idle. Replaced.
2. Front disc rotor warped at around 7k KM - Replaced on the spot and till now all good

MINOR

1. Smelly air from outside can enter. Fixed
2. Some rattle noises from the lower dashboard panel at the driver side.... Identified the spot and still checking on it on how to solve it. To DIY.
3. Front disc brake caliper rattle (knocking sound when passing thick yellow lines). To send it for modification on the mounting eg. rebore and custom fit bushing. Still thinking about it. Putting thick high temp grease only "solve" the problem for a while. It will come back in 2-3 months time.
4. My front passenger door lock striker plastic tube broke. To be replaced. Waiting for parts to arrive.

i press every button i could, and i release the central lock(the door lock knob raised)

For some, the vibrations won't be so obvious till speed 100 km/h and above. You will feel that your steering wheel is vibrating, or shaking worst case scenario.

Don't EVER go skim your brake disc rotor if it's warped. If your car is still under warranty, go to PESC and claim for a set of new ones. Who knows, if you skim it later the guys at PESC will say that you've voided your warranty..

I'm going to claim for a set of new discs at my 5k service, then after that change to Brembo Max or EA's cross-drilled slotted rotors. I'll sell the newly claimed ones to cover the cost brows.gif Anyone's car here warranty expired/voided but having warped brake discs can come find me. biggrin.gif

Haha.. Fenrir, I've been through the same situation as you before..

It's the child lock thing to prevent kids from opening the door unnecessarily when the car is moving.. Safety mah..

Open your rear passenger doors, check the side near the latch on the door. You'll see a small button slider that you can slide up or down. That's child lock.

Because K&N filters are almost double the price. And Simota Works offers the same bang for lesser bucks. For the filter it's RM100, but the list is temporarily closed right now as the dealer agreed to sell it RM100 ea for 7 pieces.

For the Denso spark plugs, RM130 for 4 pieces if there are 10 orders and above, RM144 if there are 5 orders and above. The list is still open. icon_rolleyes.gif
