About mail application in iphone4, when we add our account like gmail, all mails received/viewed are stored in phone memory or it is directly viewed from gmail server without storing any?

it stored on ur phone..when u open ur mail, it will fetch the mail from server and stored in ur phone. when u delete, it will sync with ur email, it also delete from ur email.


btw, my push work when i on data. and the problem with usage same with standby time also solved. is this mean it will need data constantly for checking the push? if not. it will run at background and consume all the battery??

yes push need data to be on. if ur data is off, how is ur phone going to know a server is trying to push?

older iphones use philips screws. the newer ones (since when im not sure) use the pentalobe

The standard iOS doesn't allow this function unfortunately..i know,it's very troublesome n time consuming to open the 'Settings' app everytime u want to toggle the 3G,Cell Data n Wifi on n off..plus it's on different pages.

But with SBsetting,it's now possible..it's available in Cydia..u can toggle the 3 functions(plus others like location,brightness,bluetooh,etc) all in 1 swipe and in 1 page..fyi,jailbreak is not illegal (just in case u don't know)..AFAIK, there's no apps in appstore that can tweak these..until Apple willingly insert those 1-page-toggle function in its next iOS development n updates,there's no way u can do this without jailbreak..so,in the mean time,if u don't want to JB,then u have no other choice than tapping all the way to toggle these functions.

i'm using 4.3.3, JB-ed I3gs, where i facing wifi connectivity issue,I have to keep reconnect to wifi modem manually(D link DSL2640b) becos it keep dc where i dun find any problem of dc at my office wifi modem, so my guess is the my house's wifi modem. So can anyone teach me how to solve this problem?

i'm not using travel charger. instead, i'm using Sanyo Eneloop Mobile booster. with it's 5000mah, there is no need to worry about the battery even during travelling.

Cellular data on/off only available on iOS 4 and above. Sadly iPhone 2G is not supported but you can use data toggle in sbsettings.

Guys I have a question, hope you can help me out. I wanna ask, in your phone settings, the "region format" which one you guys choose? Is it the Singapore one? Cos I realised when I select that, the Safari google will automatically use google.com.sg. If I use Malay format, it will use google.com.my but the day date all is in BM... how to solve this
