I believe it's the same as the U2311H ie; no service tag,use the invoice number instead

Just got myself a LG IPS236V.. Quite disappointed for its IPS viewing angle.. Brightness dim a lot from side angle.. Almost same performance with my Samsung 23" TN panel..

When put side by side with my Sharp LCD TV, tot the LG IPS is just TN Panel.. sweat.gif

Mine's at RM811 due to the five year warranty plus the additional RM150 coupon. I'm a little disappointed that it doesn't have 1:1 or preserve aspect ratio. It's also noticeably bluish when compared to my aged U2410. I think I'm going to have to invest in some colour calibration hardware to fix this.

Thanks. I checked the tech spec. U2412M seems using max W than U2311H. Is it really needed to invest those calibrator?

Not really. If you're running a single monitor only, it may be difficult to tell if the colour is off or not. And it could be that my older U2410 is in dire need of calibration. At ~RM300 for the calibrator I'm looking at, it certainly won't be worth it for most users, unless you have a job that really need good colours. Calibrating by eye may be enough.

Spyder3Express? It doesn't support more than 1 monitor calibration on single PC.

I'm aware of that, thanks to your PMs. happy.gif

There may be workarounds however, like attaching one monitor at a time and calibrating that. What I don't quite understand is how it applies the calibration to the monitor but I haven't the time to do more research yet, which is why I have been waffling about actually buying one at this time.

2209WA to U2311H? That looks like downgrade to me, 2209WA is better panel compare to U2311H, or perhaps they already out of stock?

Actually I tried before, just need to use monitor A as main and calibrate, then use monitor B as main and calibrate. Make sure you save both color profile file. Then disable the spyder software then load both using Window's loader instead.
