Belt-CP is good heli to restrain yourself. As the user know the limit and he will only fly within the limit. once he turn to align or other good heli, the user will exceed the limit double. heheh

Do you think you need very good upgrade to do invert hovering?
Hehehe, I have upgraded only a KDS800 gyro and Turnigy DS480 tail servo. |

QUOTE(daddoo @ Jan 25 2011, 10:11 PM) Do you think you need very good upgrade to do invert hovering? If only inverted hovering, I can do without any upgrade. For my case is totally different. When I flying Belt-CP, I already do the hurricane, side tictoc, reverse inverted circle, half piro flipping (not piro-flip). The very first inverted hover I've done is with King 2 and using stock esky brushless motor & esc, stock purple gyro, and stock radio. Quite hard to do that time but manage it.Hehehe, I have upgraded only a KDS800 gyro and Turnigy DS480 tail servo. hi all,
sorry for the late reply ... was busy with work anyway, bought 2 heli .... 1x small 3.5 channel coaxial heli to be fly inside my hotel apartment 1x 450 size aslo 3.5 channel coaxial heli to be fly outside Just got them last week, so far only practice the small one in room, no chance to test the big one yet. Why 3.5 only? coz the price difference from 3.5 to 4 channel here is quite a lot, so try with 3.5 first lor, even crash also no problem... here dubai everything also expensive ... Anyway, the small heli seems not so difficult to fly wor ... I got all the basic commands working, up down front back ... just that it is not so stable hovering ... I mean probably the TX/RX not so sensitive or what, I push up a bit of throttle it goes too high, I push down a bit, it goes too low, so I have to keep pushing up and down so that it doesn't hit the ceiling and doesn't hit the floor ... I will be back during CNY. QiW ... u flying in Tun Hussien Onn? I wanna see how u fly ler ... I will not be bringing back my that bigger version of heli, but probably will check out a Align 450 here in KL. By the way, whats the main difference of a 450 Pro and Sports? its is not hard to play 3.5channel heli because it is hovering by itself
but to control it to specific place you want, its harder than 4 channel ^^ |

QUOTE(sweeann @ Jan 27 2011, 08:53 PM) hi all, Trex Pro is Tork Tube Driven and Sport is Belt-Driven,sorry for the late reply ... was busy with work anyway, bought 2 heli .... 1x small 3.5 channel coaxial heli to be fly inside my hotel apartment 1x 450 size aslo 3.5 channel coaxial heli to be fly outside Just got them last week, so far only practice the small one in room, no chance to test the big one yet. By the way, whats the main difference of a 450 Pro and Sports? 3.5 channel is only a toy, 4 channel full control heli, but 6-channel is professional rc stuff. Big different from each type. 3.5 = - even your children can flew it for first time without doing anything on the heli or radio. - one time buy. no spare part as i've known. - mostly claim to be full orientated heli but the only it can do is up down piro. forward, backward, side is depend on environment. 4.0 = - Need abit setup and training to fly it. - Some brand has spare part such as walkera or esky. - Got all surface control from up down forward reverse side piro - Good stuff to learn and get use of flying orientation. - also not a toy. be wary the blade can cut through paper; which mean ur skin easily. 6.0 = - Need a lot of training and crash is unavoidable. - Most 6 channel heli have spare part available (depend on the LHS) - Need precise setup. - Capable to fly inverted and any hard core 3D (depend on skill) - Not a toy. The headspeed for main rotohead exceed 2000rpm. Even mine is about 2800rpm. |

Wow, don't know what would happen if a 700 size hit you ... It can drag a toy car with a person sitting on top.

I think so, the blade can totally chop your hand off.
My nail hit by a 450 size tail blade before, then got bruise already and that moment only 1/3 throttle only. Hehehe, so this is not really a toy ...... must take it seriously. |

Back in KL.
Was wondering, is there any TX that is compatible with any Simulator program out there? I mean if I want to do practice/simulator with the real TX instead of a mock-up TX. |

So far I know realflight, reflex, pheonix can use with our normal radio like futaba or JR or spectrum. The only thing is the cable and setup.
