Woo nice panning, havent done any motorsports events in quite a while now. Last one was Malaysian GP in April iirc rclxub.gif

The easiest for me would be set to Shutter Priority and set it to something like 1/50 sec (like pic below), follow the subject while it pass you and spam away lol. Oh yea having a steady hand helps too laugh.gif

For slow moving subjects (like people running) might need a slower shutter speed to get the nice blur background. As you can see my panning doesnt really have the blurry background because shutter speed not slow enough (i think blush.gif )

erm, since i wish to do panning, i have to use S mode.. shutter speed around 1/60-80?? notworthy.gif

Shutter speed depends how fast your subject is. The lower the shutter, the more effect but then you got limit how low you can go... because the lower you go, the harder to nail a shot.
