Means everything is depend..such as weather etc?

Everything is dependent, location (indoor / outdoor), speed of subject, source of light. Most importantly, timing laugh.gif

Tried panning once, beside the road too.

user posted image
1/30sec, f/20, ISO 200

had nothing to do so sat beside the road and started trying out.

Question: How to focus the whole car rather than one particular spot? Use Auto Area for AF mode? cos most of the panning shots I took only focus on one spot, i.e. the plate/the side-mirror/the door. sweat.gif

Its not focused on 1 side, just that part sync to your camera during the pan.

Change your AF System to AF-C , It works by lock focusing to your subjects while you half-pressed the shutter button

I had the same problem when panning cars though, sometimes focus on one particular spot and sometimes can focus the whole car laugh.gif
