^ That's what I recalled too haha! But then you told me need charges for this item etc etc. So I didn't ask further already that time.

Yeah, RM4750 for that D7000 kit. Really chopped ._.

last time i say 24 f/1.4 very nice who say big aperture for wide angle lenses no difference?  whistling.gif
*
Bokeh wise. But I'm planning mainly for the f/1.4 for low light ;-). My 1635 is too slow at f/4 for low light. Well there's VR, but if shoot something moving -> fail (worse when D90 ISO not even close to the FX).

AF-S 50mm f/1.2G rumours !

The Japanese site digicame-info.com reported a rumor few days ago that Nikon is currently working on new AF-S 50mm f/1.2G and 28mm f/1.4G lenses that will be released in the near future. I received similar tips at the beginning of the year about the 50mm f/1.2G lens and Nikon even filed a patent for it:

http://nikonrumors.com/2010/11/17/rumors-f...evelopment.aspx

This explain why there isn't any GOLD RING at 50mm f/1.4G flex.gif
*
Argh, I like 50mm range more than 85mm but took the 85mm because the 50mm f/1.4G was just so so :S.

Nevermind, live with 85mm until then tongue.gif.

Oh my, didn't notice... the 85mm if 1.4 G N lens...

50mm 1.2 rumoured to be USD$3400 (2k USD more exp than canon's) @@ I doubt this lens will be RM11k plus hmm.gif
*
The new higher range lens are all N lens. ;-) This is pretty much how Nikon differentiate their higher range versus their normal lens I guess. Like how Canon label their L.

QUOTE(shiinkuro31 @ Nov 18 2010, 04:10 PM)
What is FP actually?  sweat.gif
*
Fast sync. With that you can shoot up to 1/4000 (D90). I think 1/8000 on higher end bodies.

hi to all sifu...
wana ask dat is nikon 24-70 f2.8 is sharp at ani range & A...?
coz no luck finding a 17-55...
might jz jump to 24-70 wif sacrifice a little wide & gain a little zoom...
thx...
*
Yeah, sharp at all range.

QUOTE(02286 @ Nov 19 2010, 04:03 AM)
juz uv filter enough? will it be better if i remove the filter?
*
Remove your filter and see if the glare is still there. If it is still there, it means that's the limit of your lens. If not, it means your filter is lousy and degrading your image.

B+W and Pro1D or HD series make wonders mate.
*
Agreed. Those people having flare issue with filters are usually those single layer filter. Those are really bad, I would rather go without filter instead!

agree... but i guess rather than spending too much on UV filters that does almost nothing besides protection, i guess I might go without filter instead and use the money for something else...
*
Sure, depends on your budget. I don't mind if I'm using a 50mm f/1.8D, but on more expensive lens I would not take the risk.

QUOTE(Kent3888 @ Nov 19 2010, 11:46 AM)
A few questions in mind

How much roughly would D7000 BG cost??
How long does it takes to be released to market after the body?
How much was the MB-D10 cost when it first launched?
*
MB-D11 is out to market if not mistaken. Started shipping already.

QUOTE(stratocaster @ Nov 19 2010, 12:25 PM)
Anyone know of any retail dealer shop selling D7k with lens 105mm for 4.5k ?

Enquire most of the retail shops..its at 4.9k
*
Can get it at RM4550 easily. Look harder smile.gif. Try the bigger famous shops around. Which shops have you been to? (On the side note, which state?)

Stand really far away from my subject haha! No choice, before this I'm using 70200 basically slightly wider than 85mm only lo.

Accurate, but consistency is not there on D90. Is ok on other bodies such as D700 and D3.
