I using some low end memory card reader haha, RM10 or something. But not bad since can read my SD at 20mbps. Bad side, can't read CF!

chobo, I would go for 70200 if I were you. Cover more range, and VR can make up for the f/2.8 instead of f/1.4.

You've seen how the 2470 performs right? The 70200 is similar in terms of sharpness! The IQ from 70200 won't disappoint you, plus you get the 70-200 range. Only downside, HEAVY~! I've shoot whole day with the 70200 before.. still can accept tongue.gif. (But without SB900 since it is a motorsport event hehe)

did you use battery grip...? i heard adding battery grip will help balance up the center of the weight... but i have try that though...
*
D90 + grip + 2 batt + 70200, did this during motorsport events. For stage events longest i've covered is probably from 9pm~2am LOL. Lugging the 70200 all over... -.-

This thread is fast!

QUOTE(chobo @ Nov 22 2010, 07:00 PM)
you didnt use monopot...? it helps a lot while shooting sport events...
i see... thanks for the advices.... will try adding one on before my next shoot...
*
No, I handheld for motorsport. 70200 isn't as big as those 300/400/600 which requires monopod.

QUOTE(KTCY @ Nov 22 2010, 07:06 PM)
Yes.
You will end up regretting like celciuz tongue.gif
*
LOL!

QUOTE(chobo @ Nov 22 2010, 07:13 PM)
cause of the f4...? but that lens is razor shape as well...

i did realized bro celciuz shooting style is more towards half body close up.... so the range of 16-35 might not do the job for him....
*
Razor sharp at f/4! But if paired with FX bodies much better due to better ISO capability. But on D90 a bit tough lah, gotta go really slow shutter :S.

Wah seh, analyzed my shooting style! tongue.gif. Depends on mood one xD.

As far as I know, new Nikkor lens with 9 rounded blades can't produce cat's eye bokeh. Only the old lens non asperical ones can.

I wonder which part looks like IR to you tongue.gif.

QUOTE(adriancs @ Nov 22 2010, 10:36 PM)
Well the 35/1.4 seems like really "cheap"... compared to the 24/1.4... sadly... I already have the 24/1.4. Getting the 35/1.4 seems really redundant... sad.gif But... its soooo tempting...
*
LOL, but the 24 f/1.4 seems like a more solid glass... somehow, 77mm like the other pro lens from Nikkor.

Price wise cheaper than Pro1 series IIRC

Was told Marumi is good, but sometime ago I saw some lab test comparing the filters.
